Tart or sweet is this lollypop?

Answer: These taste just like Smarties. The much better ones, which are sweet, are made by Swizzel Matlow (aka. Swizzels) - UK company.

The description says 200 count but the box says 120. How many come in the container?

Answer: I bought mine awhile ago but I just counted how many are left and I have 132. I’ve had a couple big parties where I have them out and my family eats them often so it’s gotta be 200.

Should the container have come unsealed? This is unnerving.

Answer: The first couple of containers had a good plastic seal all around the lid and jar, however I did receive the last container with just a couple of pieces of tape, so lid had come off during shipment and some contents were scattered throughout the box. I contacted Amazon and they gave me a full refund. Until the company goes back to firmly sealing the product as they had done in the past, I will not be ordering again. I am not going to expose anyone to possible contaminants during shipment.

The picture clearly shows the lollipops individually wrapped and when they arrived they were not and most of them were broken and dusty at the bottom of the bin. Do not waste your money.

There were supposed to be an assortment of the two kinds of lolly, i got 6 of the blue and 194 of the orange. Doesn't seem all that assorted, but it's fine and i enjoy them. They're a nice candy to keep around because they satisfy the sweet tooth without too many calories, and you don't just munch through them like you would M&Ms or some such. I wish i had bought the mega-lolly pack instead of the double lollies, but that was just a decision and not a problem with the candy. Overall a great candy to keep around in the house!

These are so good and addicting! I rat them all the time. The yellow lollies are a litte softer, but still hard. I can bite them easier. The blue ones are much harder for me to bite into. I need it to soak in my saliva longer! Lol! I would definitely but these again. Also these lollies are smaller then the mega, you can fit these in your mouth on one side of your cheek. I cant to that to the mega lollies.

I really like that the suckers are unwrapped, because the wrapped ones are hard to open. My only complaint is that the container was not tamper proof sealed, just a plastic lid with a piece of tape on one side. I was a little unsure about their safety

I probably had at least of quarter of what was in there before giving them away, but what makes this difficult to share is it is really just a bunch thrown into a plastic container, and you have to dig for them. It's not layered in such a way where, if you don't know the person, you may not feel a bit uncomfortable. Add in the candy is outright exposed and it makes it not the most sanitary thing to have for either your office, school, or anything besides at home.

Also, you have to be aware of the dust getting candy causes that can easily get on your clothes and require a bit of water, or something similar.

Though, other than that, you gotta love these and the price is good considering the slightly bigger, and wrapped kind can cost 50 cents or so, if you can ever find them locally (Amazon does carry them but I didn't realize until after my purchase of this).

I was VERY disappointed to see that the lollipops weren’t individually wrapped (as shown in the picture or have arrived in the past). I like having them available on my desk to share with others, but they need to have a wrapper. I cannot put these out, nor can I return them. Not too happy about this.

If you have very specific memories of getting Lollies from your corner store or maybe the concession stand at a Little League baseball game 30+ years ago, you're going to be disappointed. While they may look like them, these are not those.

The upside is that what these are is gigantic Smarties. So, once you get over your existential angst about your lost youth, you can live in the now and appreciate these for what they offer: The ability to stuff yourself with Smarties without having to unwrap and dump an entire roll into your mouth at once like a savage.

These are almost all gone already. I tried to limit to 1-2 a day but they are too delicious. I ate these all the time when I was a kid, I think they used to cost like 5 cents or something and I'd get 1-2 and make them last a long time. I just bite these ones and chew them up...then grab another. The yellow and orange ones are much softer and easier to dissolve than that pink and purple ones. You can tell from the picture which I ate first :-)

Loved them 30 years ago when I was in high school and the grand kids love them now. This was the best buy item/cost ratio, and is the exact kind I had. So good to bring your grand kids to something that you loved and now they do too. Can this get on the subscription plan?? :-)

Not as shown in photo, these are all unwrapped in the tub, making them very impractical for giving away. I tried one for myself, and they taste fine, but hurt my tongue after about 1/3 way through the sucker.

These things are addictive. They're like smarties, only bigger and on a stick. They're not wrapped, and leave a powdery residue if you leave them lying around, but they're great to have on hand for a quick reward of something sweet & tart. You can't eat too many at once, they get rich quickly/make you thirsty so small kids learn to limit themselves. That's great.

Ever since I was a kid I have loved these smartie suckers or call them what you will. Now that I have kids they love them too! I mean, who doesn't love them?! I was thrilled to see these offered on Amazon, so I snatched up a container.

Shipping was fast, there is definitely an assortment of blue/pink and orange/yellow, and they are super fresh! Probably the freshest I've had.

Only thing I could gripe about is during shipping the powder from inside the container was in the box and on the outside of the container. It would be awesome if some sort of plastic seal was on them!

Overall, I highly recommend, they taste great and exactly as they did in my childhood.

I like these lollies because they are very delious. although it says that they are 6 pounds.... and are only 56 ounces witch is not six pounds..... six pounds would be 96 ounces not 56. But it does say that there are 200 lollies and they are correct. I am very happy with this product because they are delious and amazon has a good deal for them. Other places i have gone it cost 4 $ for 10 of them which is 40 cents apiece. If you buy them on amazon there around 10 cents apeice which is a very good price. This is also a candy that will no go bad so you do not have to worry about an experation date of which they go bad in the near future.

These lollies bring me back to my childhood days, and my own children love them also. We buy this large quantity right before summer starts and go through at least a couple of tubs before the end of summer. They are a great treat to bring along on road trips because they don't get sticky like a regular lollipop does. Also, great to have for all the summer ballgames that we attend (and a lot cheaper than buying them at the concession stands!) LOVE these lollies!
