Answer: I’m not sure on these, but mine were received well before their due date.

When is the expiration date?

Answer: The date is constantly changing because they are constantly being manufactured. The last order I received was dated about 6 months from the date I received them. Your experience may vary.

Answer: I’m not sure on your particular box, but the ones we ordered had plenty of time to eat them before the expiration date.

I love these chewy sweetarts and they are hard to find where I live, so I took to Amazon and found them! Yayyy! However, about 60% of my packets were literally in small pieces. Edible but disappointed I had to empty the pieces into a cup and snack on them. So the flavors mixed together is definitely not what I wanted...bummer! Overall, I love Chewy Sweetarts individually, I just didn't know I was getting real candy crush!! lol

This is one of my favorite candies, and it is becoming very difficult to find. I purchased previously on Amazon, it was great. The most recent box was terrible. The candies are hard (not chewy), several are broken (they have perforated lines across the disc) and the candy is stuck to the wrapper (nearly impossible to get off). And I paid more this time than previously. Not worth it at all. Will need to find a different source

In large text on the wrapper, right below the name of the candy, is this statement: "For a CHEWY experience, BREAK IT into bite-sized pieces before eating." That's exactly how it works. In unbroken form, the candy tablets are hard. Broken up, they readily become chewy in your mouth. It's kind of nice if this is something a person wants to carry in his pocket. They won't "melt". For convenience, you might want to whack the tablets (still in the wrapper) with something hard, so that they are already broken into small pieces inside the package. These small pieces are not sticky either. They become chewy once you put them in your mouth. To reviewers who complained that these are stale -- don't feel bad, that was my initial reaction, too. Then I read the wrapper.

These aren’t the Chewy Sweet Tarts you remember from your childhood. They are hard as a rock and much smaller. Not worth the money and a big let down.

So despite several negative reviews saying this candy was hard and stale, I thought I'd give it a try, choosing to believe the positive reviews instead. Boy was I wrong. This candy arrived promptly through Amazon Prime, but it's so hard you could break your teeth on it. There was no evidence of any temperature issues during transportation. The wrapping was fine and not stuck to the candy as some have said. It was just plain stale and hard as rocks. Utterly disappointing. If you were thinking about this candy and thought you'd ignore the negative reviews, don't. You will be disappointed.

I love these candies a lot. I chose to get this bulk deal since I was paying nearly $1.50 a package at the grocery store. I'm saving money with these.

They are a little on the stale side even though the box says "Best by December 2016" (10 months from now). I imagine that they were not stored correctly. They are still good but they don't have the same amount of flavor and the same chewy texture that the ones down at the grocery store have.

I am not disappointed I got them but I also won't buy another box of them here.
