Is this a good chocolate for making hot coco? In other words, will this melt/incorporate well into hot milk??

Answer: This is a great idea. If it works the hot coco would be the best. Try to melt the chocolate into a slurry before adding to the hot milk.

Answer: I would say yes. There was excessively few "chunks". The ones that I "found" were very small. I do not know about minuscule pieces, which would end up on the bottom. But one could consider them a bonus, at the end of the drink.

is this product kosher?

Most of the large commercial chocolate is made with African child slave labor. Won't name them, but you know who they are..

This is a delicious dark chocolate with cranberries and almonds. I've enjoyed this in the past, and miss the old packaging, but the chocolate inside is still the same. Great mix of tart cranberries with the dark chocolate and a bit of crunch from the almonds.

A friend in Tampa turned me on to this chocolate, so when I got home to my rural town the only way to get it was through Amazon, at a dozen bars per box - which is no problem! It's delicious and rich, a little piece of a bar is plenty to satisfy and a bar makes a great gift. I haven't tried the other variations but love this particular one and will continue to order.

These bars are a hit at my house. They rank high up on my list of favorite bars from Endangered Species, and this is my husband's favorite out of the ones I ordered. He is not a chocolate-eater, but I have found myself needing to hide these bars from him. The cranberries and almonds are excellently paired with the dark chocolate.

This type of chocolate is supposed to be one of the best for its antioxidant value, but it is rather bitter. Neither my daughter nor I could get through one bar, so I took the remainder of my 12-pack order to school to give to students to share in one on my classes. Even among teenagers who love chocolate, however, the review was quite mixed.

You have to enjoy dark chocolate. The taste is excellent. The bars came in great shape. The cranberries add just enough interest without being too in your face.

The chocolate is excellent but Vitamin Cottage ships spoiled bars. They are chalky and some bars have melted at some point.
Endangered Species Species Dark Chocolate is great but Vitamin Cottage should do a better job of caring for the product.
Vitamin Cottage also ignored a complaint about the shipment.

Endangered Species Wolf is one of the most delicious dark chocolate bars I've ever eaten. In fact, this was my third order of these scrumptious bars! At 72% cacao, they exceed the 70% minimum cacao content generally recommended to get the benefits of heart healthy flavonols. The mouthfeel is creamy and luscious, unlike many of the dark chocolate bars I've tried. And the cranberries and almonds add not only flavor and texture but also fiber and other nutritional pluses.
