I ordered this gum and was really disappointed by the quality when I received it. The gum is hard as rock. The gum is so stale that the candy coating is actually breaking off the gum balls. Have never ordered gum balls of any kind before so I wasn’t sure what to expect but when I opened the bag to fill our new gum ball machine I found so many of them to be only half colored as if maybe the color has chipped off? These gumballs are great for machines that accept the smaller diameter gum (or for those that just eat it out of the resealable bag). They are easy to chew, taste good and I even like everyone's least favorite color, the dreaded white gumball (it's a fruit flavor and not your typical peppermint flavor).

The only thing preventing me from giving this product 5 stars is the flavor maybe lasts 1 minute. Yep. 60 short seconds. So, chain chewing would probably be required to maintain any flavor for any length of time.

I'll still reorder these though as they are priced well and do taste decent, albeit for a very short time.

I've bought these gum balls for years but the first time to buy them in a bag. I put them in my gum machine and lots of them were cracked and the "color" of the gum balls broke off. They need to put these in a more sturdy container for "travel" so they won't arrived so "broken". My great grandkids love them, they don't know the difference.

The flavor lasts about 10 seconds, no joke. After that, you're chewing a piece of rubber. Probably only one step above a pencil eraser or a tennis shoe sole. Actually, maybe more like silly putty.

This is truly a one star chewing gum, but I'll keep buying it. Why? Because my co-workers gave me a Sharper Image candy dispenser for Christmas. They filled it with 4 pounds of Jelly Bellies, which I devoured on my own in about 3 days. Oh boy did I feel like crap. Since I couldn't toss the dispenser, nor leave it empty, I was on a quest to find a candy I wasn't tempted to much all day long. I did research for my allergy kiddo and found that, according to the Dubble Bubble website, this gum would be safe. However, when I received the package, it stated allergens were present. Annoyed, I called Dubble Bubble and was told this specific size bag is made on shared lines with some Top 8 allergens. I was shocked to find such a huge discrepancy/error with such a large and reputable company. I had to toss this bag.

I thought the gumballs would be larger, like the ones you would get from a large gumball machine, but they are little. Like the size of an almond m&m. Also I don’t know if something happened in transit, but they are very broken and cracked. I have no issue with the seller, but I suspect it is more of a packaging/shipping/manufacturing issue. I bought these as a gift for my daughter (she has the tabletop gumball machine). While I am sure the product tastes fine, sadly, they are of poor visual quality. many have the coatings chipped off and there are a bunch of little tiny "scrap size" and mis-shapen balls with them which probably account for a couple ounces(so I have less actual gumballs). Luckily my daughter is only 8 and won't care much, but I would have expected better quality control. If her birthday weren't tomorrow, I would be returning them.

Gum balls was hard as rock you and half of them was losing the coating on them. I could by the same gum balls at dollar tree to equal the amount of gum balls in the package for a cheaper price.

The outer shell on many of the gum balls were busted up. Of course they are not all going to be perfect, but it was about a third of the gum that were flaking. When you are buying them for a gum ball machine, looks mean a lot. I was a little disappointed.

This gum was rock hard, the coating on gumballs were coming off. Obviously this gum was expired. I have bought this gum from another seller and it was fresh.

I bought these awhile ago (I think for Christmas 2012). They were OK but had very little taste; they were also very, very hard and stale in consistency/flavor. There also wasn't any kind of expiration date on the packaging, anywhere, which makes you wonder just HOW old they are... I have doubts that seller is shipping a "new" product on this one. I ended up throwing them out and bought some at a store locally that are in much better condition. I read from other reviews on here after purchasing that others have had similar experiences - it might be best to steer clear of this product and see if you can locate them somewhere in person. Seller might be letting them stagnate for long periods of time on the shelf or something. Yuck.

We were disappointed to find that most of the gumballs had the outer candy coating chipped off. But the greater disappointment was in finding out after we had placed all of the gum in the dispenser that the gumballs were old and as hard as a brick. The kids quickly lost their excitement over spending their money on hard gum.

These came today and all the outer coating is cracked and falling off!!!! Horrible quality. These were bought as a gift for a machine and now I cant give them. Just be forewarned

I always buy this product for my gumball machine. My machine is approximately 75 years old and works perfectly. The size of the gumballs works extremely well and I have never had any issues with this product. My machine sits out and is in constant use by anyone entering our living room.

Just what I wanted. Smaller gumballs! I understand what some reviewers were saying about the gumballs being crushed or the shell being smashed off and that was what I was expecting too but the bag was actually in great shape. No messy crumbles or shells knocked off so I am pleased that I got a good bag. Presuming it always comes in good presentation status then I will order again.

These were all cracked on the outside and looked awful. Like maybe they were run over by a truck or something. I went to return them and they aren’t returnable. Bad product don’t recommend.

Looks nice in machine. Very poor quality as far as freshness. Gum turns hard after 30 seconds of chewing and looses all flavor after 45 seconds. Have to spit out after 60 seconds.

I bought 2 bags, over half of the gum was broken with the bottom of both bags full of little pieces of hard shell, along with that the gum was hard as rocks. My grandkids were making fun of how hard it was to bite on it, I thought they’d break a tooth. Not satisfied at all with this purchase.

I wish it were easier to tell the difference in gumball sizing. They are a little bit small for my machine, but they will suffice as they will be eaten one way or the other!!

These are the WORST gumballs I have ever had. They are hard as a rock, do not soften when chewed and what little flavor they had is gone as soon as you are 2 bites in. Do not waste your money!! This has a no return policy, so here is my honest review.
