Milk chocolate with whole hazelnuts is an absolute favorite in our colorful Ritter sport range. 23 percent crunchy Levantine hazelnuts from turkey and 77 percent of our classic milk chocolate equals 100 percent pure bliss. The nutty, roasted taste of each handful of hazelnuts in every bar is excellently complemented by subtle, piquant fine cocoa from Papua new guinea and Madagascar, as well as cocoa from west Africa. Because only the best ingredients go into our Ritter sport chocolate, even our whole, freshly roasted hazelnuts must possess the "perfect figure". After a 2 step selection process, including hand selection, only nuts with an 11 to 13mm diameter are large enough to be honored with the title of "Ritter sport whole hazelnut". Embedding them in delicious milk chocolate ensures a satisfyingly crunchy taste experience with every bite.

How do they make sure they don't melt? How are they shipped?

If I order my chocolate today what is the expiration day on the bars?

Answer: In my case chocolate was fresh. I ordered it many times in 2015 - expiration dates were mid 2016.

Answer: I've ordered these many times and found the expiration dates variable. Those that came from Germany had very short dates but that did not affect the quality. So, I have no problem in this area. Most orders have had many months though not years. ( mine don't last that long anyway)

Answer: Read the expiration date on the back of the bar, at the bottom.

Answer: The bars I got were partially dried out, like freezer damage or just old. I should have returned them. I was not satisfied with the bars.

what is the L X W X H of this 10pk?

Answer: Just going on memory, it was probably about 12" L x 5" W x 4" H. It's basically 2 stacks of 5 Ritter bars.

Does it come packed with an ice pack? I have ordered these before and I live in Florida but the chocolate came melted because it wasn't packaged with an ice pack.

Answer: My order did not come with an ice pack, but I live in MN. You would think they would want it to not melt and just include ice; maybe ask for it in your order. Otherwise wait for cooler weather.

I couldn’t believe that the expiration date on the candy was less than 2 months.I bought this in November hoping to give this as part of my Christmas gifts. The candy is so old that I couldn’t taste the chocolate. I have had Ritters before, and I throughly enjoyed the richness of the candy. So now I am stuck with 9 1/2 bars that I can’t give away. I informed the seller but have not heard from them a month ago.

Ritter Sport is excellent chocolate. Much nicer than anything produced in America. It's just a supermarket brand in Europe but it's FAR superior to the plastic-tasting stuff Hershey sells.

It took 12 days to get to Kentucky but the chocolate was as advertised, fresh, undamaged and plenty of time to expiration. No complaints. This is my favorite of the Ritter chocolate bars.

These chocolates used to be available at my local grocery store, but now the only place that sells them is World Market - and the bars cost a lot more per unit. My husband loves this particular flavor the best, and so I order in bulk so he can enjoy his candy whenever he wants.

The milk chocolate with hazelnuts from Germany is delicious . Would recommend ordering in cooler weather. I ordered during a humid time and the chocolate had melted but was still good after putting in freezer for a while/

Most of these candy bars came tan in color and where powdery, They fell apart into huge piles of powder when I tried to open the wrapping? I don't know if it was really old chocolate or was a bad batch of chocolate. I was very disappointed! A couple of the bars where ok and tasted great but the others where terrible.
