Answer: Yes. In Europe, these bars are made by Nestlé In the US they are made by Hershey. Nestlé uses pure cane sugar, the other uses high fructose corn syrup. And yes.....you can taste the difference! Mama bought some in Italy and we've been importing these every so often since.

Otherwise it is my opinion that the Nestle's KitKat is much superior to the Hershey's and my daughter and grandchildren agree!!!

Shipping was a bit slow, although I bought it during the holiday season and it came straight from England. The biggest difference between the Nestle Kit Kat and the Hershey Kit Kat is the Hershey chocolate. I love Hershey chocolate, but it can leave you with a bitter aftertaste, the Nestle Kit Kat doesn't because its not as rich. The Nestle wafers also have more flavor too. It's a shame that you can't buy both kit kats in the United States. Just be warned, this purchase comes with a lot of chocolate!

I remember going to Canada years ago and someone gave me a Kit Kat and I thought it was strange, what was the big deal? Then I tasted it and it was SOO much better that the Hershey ones we get in the US. These are the same since they come from the UK. My boyfriend was excited to get these as well and he has been enjoying them.

It's nice to get some real food from time to time. Europe has laws against GMO's and other additives that degrade the quality of the snack. These still melt in your fingers and have no waxy taste like the ones we have in the United States. It's unfortunate that we have to go overseas to get good food.

Boy was I disappointed! I bought KitKat made in the UK because I remembered how great it tasted as a child in the 1960s, and I knew Hershey ruined the US version once they got the rights to making it. But this one is even worse than Hershey, if that's possible!

Yum. Maybe just a placebo, but they seem better than the version you can buy in the US. Tasty either way, best when stored in the refrigerator and taken out just before you want to eat one.

These are the original, the real-deal! The chocolate is so superior to the US Kit Kats' bar, it's not funny. My father thinks they're addictive and although he grew up with them in Scotland, thinks they taste even better now! Totally worth buying these over domestic Kit Kats. One taste and you'll be hooked!
