Is this gum gluten free?

Answer: Yes! Glee Gum is vegetarian, additive free, lactose free, dairy free, wheat free, gluten free, casein free, egg free, yeast free, nut free, and peanut free.

Answer: It is glazed on the outside, but it is not hard to chew.

Answer: When I purchased this gum a couple of years ago, it was soft. If you get old gum it might be hard, but I don't believe this company sells old products. However, this gum, like most other Chiclets, have a stiff/hard outer shell that is easy enough to chew. The inside is soft.

Answer: It is harder than other chewing gum like Big Red, Wrigley's.

Answer: No not the cinnamon flavor, the tangerine gets a bit hard but the cinnamon is great.

Answer: Absolutely the WORSE chewing gum on the planet!!!

Answer: This gum is not as soft as the more common gums, probably due to it having more natural ingredients.

Is it Vegan/Kosher?

Answer: All flavors of Glee Gum, Glee Gum Pops, and Glee Tarts are certified kosher and pareve by the International Kosher Council. Glee Gum removed this certification from the newest packaging as they are looking to switch to another Kosher certification, but rest assured, all products mentioned above are still Kosher. Because Glee Gum contains beeswax and resinous glaze, it is not vegan (Glee Gum Pops, Glee Tarts, and Make Your Own Gummies Kit are vegan, though!).

The first thirty seconds are great....then the flavor starts to get weird...then it goes away completely, leaving you with a bad taste in your mouth and a weird texture. I wanted to like it, I did! I'm trying to avoid artificial sweeteners, but this was just gross.

Bland from the beginning, similar to Spry..doesn't taste like Cinnamon at all and goes from bland to a really strange clove like flavor after 30 seconds, then turns really waxy. It is literally like chewing a piece of wax.

New packaging contains new flavor. BEWARE. I used to be a fan, but no longer. It *was* my favorite post-meal gum. It used to have a nice kick (kind of like biting into a red hot). Now it just has a weird kind of flavor initially. Kind of hard to describe, but not cinnamon and not very pleasant to my taste buds. It also seems softer when I am chewing, although the consistency stabilizes after a while. I am not even sure I can make it through this box, let alone the other 11. I am very disappointed. I may get used to it (in time). I wonder if I should try one the other mint flavors I used to like, or if those have been altered also.

I wish I had read the other recent reviews before I bought this box. Maybe they will return with an "original" line to go with the new line.

This isn't bad at all. I do wish the flavor would last longer. It's free of aspartame, artificial colors, flavors, sweeteners, and preservatives. It's made with chicle for rainforest conservation. I would buy it again if I was wanting cinnamon and there wasn't anything else around to try. It's also made in the USA, which is cool.

These are a great product if you are looking to get rid of artificial sweeteners but still want to chew gum. The flavor is fantastic, but disappears pretty quickly. Still, it's still a great alternative.

I buy this gum because it is one of the few that I can find that actually tells you where the gum base comes from. Most gums on the market buy their gum base out of China. It won't say that on the label but if you start inquiring, they will eventually tell you. I don't trust products that come out of China and I especially try to keep them out of my food. This gum has good flavor. The flavor doesn't last super long but I mainly chew it to get rid of my coffee breath in the morning. I would definitely buy it again.

Highly recommend this gum if your trying to break the aspartame fix. It took some getting use to as it's flavor is ok, but the sweetness in chewing doesn't last as long as aspartame. Overall I'm satisfied with it, because it doesn't have aspartame in it.
I'll buy it again when my initial 12 packs run out.

I ordereed this gum, although I was not familiar with the product. I know it is an old American gum maker and since I like to buy American I ordered a box. I am sorry to say this was my first and last time. The taste is so so and does not last, but the problem is that the gum itself is EXTREMELY hard. After a few minutes my jaw muscles felt hurt. At the same time I purchased the Glee gum I also purchased Stride (same flavor) and I have to say the Stride gum is much more pleasant. Definitely a never again item I am sorry to say.

I like it. OK, it's not full of sugar like the conventional gums, but once you get used to it, it tastes better and better. The transition from what you think gum should taste like to what good, clean gum tastes like takes a few days. I cannot eat anything with mint or spearmint and most gums have those ingredients. It doesn't seem to last as long as conventional gum, but I do like it! And, I feel healthier eating it too!

I had purchased this gum in the store before and really enjoyed it, especially since it didn't contain artificial sweetener. However, I have been disappointed by my purchase, the gum tastes like the box itself. I'm not sure whether I was just unfortunate enough to get old stock (which is not ok), or if the recipe itself has changed, but I had to throw the rest of the boxes away after I opened several to see if they also tasted stale.

I used to love this gum but after they changed the ingredients I will not order it again. The old cinnamon flavor had a good taste. This new stuff tastes awful, has a weird color and turns to mush in my mouth subsequently sticking to my teeth. As the old saying goes, "If it aint broke, don't fix it." I will only reorder if they change it back to the old recipe.
