What is the secret to unwrapping gin gins??? :d

Answer: Tear off the top corner where the candy is not near.. try tearing downward length wise.. the warmer it is the sticker it is... but either way it should work ????

Answer: I've found it best to open by finding the extra flap down the middle. Hold onto that with one hand and the other hold the perpendicular of the wrapper that the candy is in and rip it down the middle.

Answer: Yes they are a little hard to open, but well worth it. I usually tear it from the top where it says tear here, then start at the fold of the wrapper, tear it down. Or use sissors.

Answer: Cool temperature. They get really sticky when they're warm. If not, open them like a tiny bag of chips.

Answer: All the gin gins are in an individual wrapping sealed, no loose wrappers. They can be difficult to open but scissors does the trick.

Answer: They dont sell them in loose wrappings. Another brand from a health store does.

Answer: Those have become more popular in stores. However, I dont think they are quite as good.

I love these little candies and eat them all the time, not just when I'm traveling or don't feel good., they are sweet with that ginger spiciness that is just right for me when I need a little something. I also suck on them when my tummy feels a little queasy and they seem to help.

I ordered this at a time when I was pregnant. I heard that ginger was good for morning sickness so I wanted to be prepared. Not sure if the ginger really helped with that but I do know this, I never once vomited and didn't really feel sick at all while I was pregnant. I shared these with co-workers and they think the gin gins are tasty too. People kept asking me where to buy them.

My kids think these are better than candy. I love that they are natural and pretty good for them. If you are buying this because of morning sickness please note....these did not work for me. They really made it worse for me. Nothing ginger worked. I really thought the taste was interesting and really gingery (which is a good thing! :), and my hubby and kids LOVE these. So for me it wasn't a waste of my money to buy them, just not for morning sickness.

I work in a supermarket, and a 3 ounce bag only costs $1.99. Doing the quick math, if I got 12 of them at the supermarket, I would only end up paying half price they're offering here, give or take a few dollars. I'd jump on this in a heartbeat....if they lowered the price. It's just not worth paying over 40 dollars for something I can get for half price in the supermarket.

My son has GERD and the medication for GERD is very expensive and is also known to put one at risk of liver issues. The Ginger People Original Ginger Chews help him to control stomach acid so that it doesn't burn his throat and create ulcers. Ginger chews keep him out of misery and help to control his GERD. It's nice to have a natural way to address the issue and misery of GERD. It doesn't always keep him from having to take a round of medication, but if he keeps the chews with him and eats 2 or 3 chews at the first sign of distress, then he has a better chance of not having to take the medication. Highly recommend for anyone with stomach acid issues or for travelers who get upset stomachs in different forms of transportation. I buy this in large quantity so it is always available.

well well..i tried ordering via the vitamin drug store ..when i got ready to check out it asked if i wanted to check out via Amazon. So..i did. I thought it went through..but couldn't find anything to say it did. So..when i went back to Swanson's..it no longer had the 99cent shipping and my 4.99 off coupon. So i order if straight via Amazon..(i ended up with TWO BOXES..Amazon was cheaper..but it wouldn't have been if i'd have had the coupon as before..

Delicious! As a ginger lover, who incidentally suffers from motion sickness and is prone to nausea, I am never without a few in my purse or work bag. These are addictive and, although expensive (especially if you let someone try one and they then ask for more constantly!), these are far and away the best ginger candy I have ever tried. They can easily pull out a filling because they are very chewy, so I try to allow them to slowly dissolve, though the temptation is often too great- I just love chomping these delightful, spicy, sweet, earthy treats!

I have never had morning sickness or been through chemotherapy, but I can say that sucking on one/keeping it in the pocket of my mouth has prevented my usual nausea and occasional vomiting from being a passenger on long trips, being on a boat, being on a plane (plus, the chewing can help pop your ears), riding or driving on windy and/or hilly roads (and I work in a very rural county and spend hours a day on back roads).

The products themselves arrived safely sealed and each individual candy is sealed. I plan to purchase another 12-pack and give them as Christmas presents. I have heard that dissolving one in hot water makes for a lovely tea, and I bet they would be a great addition, chopped up and put in some sort of sugar or spice cookie.

If you like ginger, I strongly suspect you will love these treats. My only recommendations are to make sure you have floss if things easily get stuck between your teeth, and drink a lot of water soon after enjoying a candy (or 6), to rinse some of the sticky sugar from your teeth. OH!! And bonus, they are vegan, so any friends unable to eat things with gelatin, fear not!
