Answer: Yes! Sugar Babies do take after their parents (Sugar Daddy Lollipops and Sugar Mama Caramels), which means they are definitely gluten-free.

When i purchased these i looked for an expiration date, the only date i could find was 2019. is it possible these are that old?

Answer: I ordered Sugar Babies in 2013 and have no idea what the expiration date was on the package. I have not reordered the candies.

Answer: Sorry, but mine were within the date. To me, the date of 2019 isn't that old and it would not bother me.

Has anyone had these shipped during hot weather & if so, how did they hold up?

I haven't seen Sugar Babies in any of the local stores and when I was browsing through Amazon found this and ordered a box. They taste just like they did when I was in school. The Sugar Babies are fresh and arrived in a very timely manner. Very tasty. If you haven't tried these caramel candies I highly recommend them so long as they are fresh.
