And as someone who's loved Baby Ruth candy bars since childhood, the current candy just isn't as good. Not only are modern candies made with genetically modified foods, they're also made with high fructose corn syrup, which cuts more corners and means the candy doesn't taste as good as you remember it. Now, I'm a grandmother and although I love Baby Ruth candy bars, I must confess I rarely buy them unless it's a treat for Halloween.
I do make one exception, however, and that's for the occasional trip to the movies. I love the fun size candy bars and it's a toss up between Baby Ruth and M&M Peanut candies. Great little snack that takes me back in time when life was so much more simple. We didn't have a lot, but there was a huge trade off - for although we had little, neither did we owe much. Rent was inexpensive, food was affordable, life was slower and we lived, loved and worked together and then on the weekend, we drove into town on Saturdays to do our grocery shopping and of course we attended church on Sundays. Baby Ruth candy bars will forever remind me of those wonderful days.

I have no idea when it comes to the weight vs amount of candy bags. Be aware you only get 15 mini bars on these bags. Also, not that it would have added but one bar, my bags were 10oz not 11.5 as advertised.
