what does the container measure?

Answer: it weights 4 lbs and will hold about 5 bags height is 8 1/4" width is 5" and depth5 1/4 " all is approximate

This is stupid, but what size are these patties? Doing it for crafts, are they like 1-1/2" Round?

Answer: It's not a stupid question at all! I just finished making Scare Crow Patties, Spider Patties, Bunny Patties and Santa Patties - all with these mint patties. The patties measure 1 1/4" in diameter. I know they are small - and I was a little disappointed - but - I used a 2 3/8" scalloped punch and the mints worked just fine - everything looks great! Tastes good, too! : )

Answer: I don't know. I ended up throwing them away. I bought them to sell at my store but they appeared to be old. The wrapper was hard to get off and the chocolate was discolored.

Answer: Yes, they are individually wrapped. These differ from a popular peppermint patty in that they are a bit chewy- not a gooey on the inside. The chocolate is not real thick, but they are favorites in our household. They are really delicious!

Answer: To me...just like the peppermint patties we all know...I guess a $0.50 piece! It shouldn’t matter...they’re delicious and if you’re at all nostalgic like me, you’ll like “unwrapping” each one!

Answer: They are bite size. Be careful with purchase. I now longer purchase this item. The last two orders came difficult to eat, they were hard to bite into? Wrappining stuck to candy, the taste seemed old. I threw it all away both times.

Answer: I have no idea. Never been there. This is the third or fourth container we’ve received we really like them

Answer: I only order them in fall..I live in south also.

Answer: I live in Minnesota and ordered them in the winter so they were un melted when I got them

Answer: Yes but when the chocolate hardens after melting the consistency of the chocolate is different, some is still attached to the wrapper and overall it changes the taste of the mint.

Answer: They do not ship in insulated containers. I would guess If the UPS or USPS truck is HOT inside, they will melt. I have had several melt just sitting out in a hot room. I keep mine stored in a cool dry place and have no problem with them.

Answer: The shipment of Pearson's Mint Patties was not expired. I use them in trifles because they are the best. I can recommend them highly.

Answer: It seems to me that Amazon wouldn't ship out a product after its expiration date. At any rate, I cannot check my own package for an expiration date because we have already consumed the product.

I reordered this product at the end of April 2015 and it was pretty bad. The candy was either VERY old or had been exposed to heat. The chocolate coating was both the normal dark color and was also the light color of cocoa -means the oils in the chocolate had evaporated or melted out. The candy was very dry. I was very disappointed because this is normally an wonderful product. Usually tastes as good as York patties but much cheaper.

These were a big hit at our Super Bowl party. Taste even better than the other big brand. Believe the chocolate is a little darker. They are bit smaller but perfect for parties. We put football stickers on them.

I didn't like the Pearson's Mint patties because they were dry and chewy. No flavor. The chocolate coating was discolored. (bloomed from overheating).
Would not recommend buying from this dealer because you can't return the bad product.

The product I received was not the product pictured. I needed the mints that are in round wrappers, not the square wrappers. These are non refundable, and I am not happy! If you change a product packaging you should update the pictures!

Beware people—— these are from an outside seller, and NOT the ORIGINAL 240 thin mints . There are only 130 in the package, and are the new THICKER variety. Amazon did honor my request to return on these, but need to take the pic of the ORIGINAL off the website. Just causes a problem for everyone by not getting what they expecting. But, thank you Amazon.

These have all been eaten, but the memory lingers on. I found these on Amazon after my local store stopped selling them. They are a great finish to a meal, a refreshing snack, and we enjoyed each and every one. They are tempting to have around, so will wait and order them again when we recover from eating all of this wonderful jar full.

While the flavor is still great, I don’t like that they have made the patties thicker. They do not hold their shape well, get smashed easily and all stuck in the wrapper. Very messy to eat. Hopefully they will go back to the thinner patties.

I bought these to be served at at friend’s retirement party.
It took lots longer than usual for them to arrive and when they did, they were quite obviously very soft.
I refrigerated them for a couple of days, yet when opened for consumption at the party they were still almost “soupy”.
The remaining ones are now in the freezer.
Very disappointed! I ordered them because my (retiring) friend’s name is Patti and as a kid, “Peppermint Patty” was her nickname.

These likely melted in the summer heat during shipping. I put them in the refrigerator and they are edible but it's obvious they have partially melted with chocolate discolored and the patties misshapen. When chilled they still stick to the wrapper. At room temp, they would likely be a sticky mess. Never again will I order a chocolate product by mail except maybe in winter months!!!

I would say these mint patties are definitely delicious! While I did not perform a direct taste comparison between the Pearson and York mints, I think the Pearson mints have a more subtle (or some might say weaker) mint flavor than the York mints. However, this actually positively affects the overall candy experience because the dark chocolate taste is more exposed, leading to a very good balance of flavors.

While I had originally purchased the Pearson Mints because they are a product of the US as opposed to Mexico like the York Mint Patties, I'm still not sure which candy I would ultimately prefer. However, I can certainly highly recommend these candies, and I am planning on ordering more in the future.

DON’T BUY! unless you are OK with messy sticky packaging. EVERY patty so far is SMUSHED so that the sticky mint cream filling has leaked inside the individual candy-wrapper. A mess to peel to eat! Taste is fine, as expected, but the smushed portionment makes these “seconds” or WORSE!
