What are the ingredients to the gum base?

Answer: The gum base is natural and comes from the jelutong tree in Southeast Asia. There are no plastics or rubbers in the gum base.

What happened to their peppermint flavor??

Answer: It still available

Are any of the ingredients derived from animal by-products? And if yes, what animal?

Answer: None of the ingredients in XyloBurst gum are derived from animal by-products. The glazing agent in the gum recently changed to carnauba wax, so beeswax is no longer found in this product.

Answer: I don't know about all the ingredients (like "gum base") but it does contain beeswax as a glazing agent, if you consider a bee an animal.

Answer: Ashtamoyah, unless you consider beeswax an animal by product this is a good product and plant based for the most part. Have been using it for a long time. Better than your usual store bought sugarless gum. Xylitol was recommended by a holistic dentist I went to years ago. :)

Made in china!! are you serious? the ingredients states it has raw material from china! does healthy gum cum from china? don't think so.

Answer: Nothing artificial in it @ all, not sure why it says that. The flavor also last a long time, it is loaded with cinnamon oil, calcium carbonate, xylitol, carnauba wax, vegetable glycerin & gum base.

Does this gum have titanium dioxide?

Answer: Yes.

Answer: I only have the fruit flavor at the moment, but it does say that it has titanium dioxide on it. So the cinnamon flavor probably does as well.

Answer: Yes, it has been used in many products for many years, and the studies are somewhat contradictory. The more I think about it, the less I want it in a gum that I give to my kids frequently. Not so wise to add a cancer risk by trying to protect their teeth!

The only thing i dislike is titanium dioxide, wish they would remove that, other then that its good.

I use a personal vaporizer (electronic cigarette), which dries my mouth out. If I drink enough so that my mouth isn't dry, I end up having to take a piss every thirty minutes. This gum (and the xylitol specifically) rehydrates my mouth and takes great! Glad I purchased it.

This gum was so tasty I found myself chewing it all the time. So often, in fact, that I wore out my back teeth and now have to have two crowns put in. The xylitol may kill germs, but it doesn't rebuild enamel. Seriously though, if you're looking for something to chew and don't suffer from OCD, this stuff is quite good.

I love this brand. I purchased it for the first time a few years ago when I was in pharmacy school and found out how good this kind of gum was for your teeth. I’ve tried all the flavors, and I enjoy each of them. My favorite is cinnamon, but after that my favorites are the fruit one and the green tea one. I purchased the big container this time, and I like to put a few into a small container to keep in my purse. I highly recommend this brand. This has titanium dioxide in it. What does that mean? I don't know. However, online it is considered relatively hazardous so it bothers me that a "health product" might have chemicals (unlisted in this product description) that are bad for one's health.

So far every zylitol gum I've tried including sprys has this ingredient but the plain zylitol sugar I order does not.

Zylo burst's website also fails to list the ingredients, leaving me to believe that they are making an effort to obscure the titanium dioxide so I looked on their can and it's right there. Since the whole point of paying more for gum that does not hold it's flavor was to improve my health and I don't want to trade cavities for cancer or some other problem, I won't be buying any zylitol gum until they remove the titanium dioxide.

I have never had a gum leave my mouth feeling so clean. It's like "you brushed your teeth" feeling. I hate the fact that almost all other gums now have aspertame that turns toxic when stored in a hot place (I don't know how it got to the store?!), so I would buy it even if it wasn't for the other best benefit of this gum - cavity prevention. You have to take 3 or 4 pieces at a time to get the "clinical-tested" amount of xylitol to stop the bacteria that causes gum disease and tooth decay; but it's well worth the improved dental health... and the bacteria-killing effect is proven to work months and months even after you stop taking it. EXCELLENT CINNAMON FLAVOR!
