I wish there was more consistency box to box, however, it's to be expected, and you'll see the same in store. Some boxes/bags are more chewier than others. Overall, they're sour patch kids.

I now own a lot of this candy. Individually, the candy pieces are tart and fruity. Eating a bunch at a time really detracts from the great flavor they have. They are very tart and not EXTREMELY sour, but are more sour than their non-extreme brethren. I suppose on a scale of 1 to 10, in terms of sourness, 1 being water and 10 being the powder off of a Warhead washed down with lemon juice, this is 7.

I like them to be refrigerated before eaten, rather than at room temperature.

This is my favorite candy. If you like slightly sour, sugary candy, then this is for you. I started buying them on Amazon when my local grocery store stopped selling them, it was a sad day. Amazon has a great price, even if you get more than you will uses in a short amount of time.
