Great flavors! Most gum flavors don't last as long as we'd like but Extra last longer than most other gums I've tried. The flavors just BURST out of the gum into my mouth! Bubble Gum flavor is my favorite but fruit flavors are great too. I chew two sticks at a time so I can blow & pop bubbles; that's just me. Sometimes I only want a quick bit of flavor in my mouth to freshen so a half a stick will do. It's normal for gum to be harder to chew once the sweetener & flavor are gone. Don't hold that against this gum for being normal.

Extra is the best sugarless gum I've ever tasted! And I even prefer it over sugar gums!

ChibiNeko : Fine for the first 2-5 minutes...

I love gum- it is good for after dinner or for just a random piece now & then. When my local supermarket had it "buy 1 get 1", I picked up 4 packs of this gum in various flavors. Now I realize why they were selling it for so cheap.

First putting it into my mouth, the gum is nice, soft, & tastes fine. The flavor is a little strong at first, but that's OK- it isn't too strong. Unfortunately after a few minutes that range anywhere from 2 minutes to five minutes, the flavor disappears & the gum becomes incredibly tough & rubbery. The claims of "long lasting flavor" are anything but.

I won't be purchasing this gum again & I wish that I hadn't bought the four packs of it. Maybe the other flavors will be better, maybe they won't. All I know is that I won't be buying it again. I'm giving the gum 2 stars because the initial 2-5 minutes weren't bad, but other than that it is a solidly 1 star experience.

I tried a pack of this gum. It tastes pretty good for a minute or two, but the flavor quickly dies down and then its just plain rubber. Don't believe the 'Long lasting flavor' hype.

For having one gram of carb per stick this bubblegum has the taste of how I remember bubblegum used to taste when I was a kid. Blows pretty good bubbles too. I just wish that the flavor would last a little longer than this does - it turns into what I imagine the sole of a clean tennis shoe would consist and taste of.

Update - this gum lists sorbitol as the first ingredient. A side effect of sorbitol is that it is a laxative, and in large doses can cause gas, flatulence and diarrhea. I found out the hard way the consuming the stuff like water will cause your poop to come out as water. My doctor has advised chewing a gum that doesn't contain sorbitol - which is not easy to find.

I chew gum about 95% of my waking hours. I like a sweet taste and this is the longest lasting flavor I have found. I do a lot of long distance bike riding and chew til no taste left, usually about 2 hours per stick. I think the formula was changed from when it was in the old std gum package: it's flavor lasted even longer then.
I'm writing this review to inform addicts that it is 20% cheaper at Walmart when bought in the 3 pack for $2 (not found at the registers but in the grocery/candy section).

When I received this order the "Best By" freshness date was less than 3 weeks away. A good way for them to clear out old inventory.

This review is for the Classic Bubble flavor.

My wife is a sugarless gum addict -- I mean, connoisseur. And since reading that mint-flavored foods can be bad for people who suffer from heartburn, this is one of her gums of choice. Chews it every day.

I like it too. Tasty, long-lasting. Does not get soggy or crumbly in the package... even when carried in a pants pocket.

We always try to use it by the expiration date. And that date for the packages we've ordered directly from Amazon has been reasonably far off.

I have discovered that, on a price-per-pack basis, the traditional hanging 3-packs can sometimes be found even cheaper than this at our local stores! But you give up some convenience, and it generates more plastic waste.

Also, one time when we ordered this product from a third-party seller [Fulfilled By Amazon], its expiration date on arrival was only a few weeks away. However, I emailed Amazon and they refunded the whole cost plus let us keep the gum -- since their policy is to not ship nearly-expired product.
