Answer: My husband is the one who loves these. I keep them in the refrigerator and get a handful out and stick in a candy jar. They have nuts in them so they are not "soft". But he says they are very good.

Answer: No, they do have some texture to them but they but they can be easily chewed and enjoyed. They arrived in a plastic bag and I divided them into smaller bags and shared them with some of my family members who I know also like this candy. Everyone enjoyed them.

Answer: Mine were not, they were stale. They have a guarantee on the bag but they said since I had 6 bags I would have to return them to the store. I got them as a Christmas gift, so the simple solution for me was to never purchase products from this company ever again.

This candy is terrible. These aren’t seconds but more like “REJECTS”!!! The pieces are moist, scuffed up, smell like mold and do not have the crunch of the original Brach’s. These are an insult to the Brach’s original candy. Lordy, do NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!

The candy in this shipment is either old or perhaps was subjected to high heat? Surface of candies is chalky and harder than it should be; nuts in the filling taste rancid. What was to have been a nostalgic contribution to an assisted living center's Retro Days is a 7 pound bag addition to the garbage can. I have successfully ordered bulk candy in the past; I'll admit I did not read the fine print about no returns on food items. My bad.

I received 10 bags of 7.5 oz maple nut goodies for Christmas. Out of the 10 bags, 4 of the bags were actually fresh. There is a freshness guarantee on the bags so I contacted Brachs. I received a email back saying since I had 6 bad bags the order was too big and I needed to return them to the store myself. 4 of the 6 bad bags were not expired, 2 were by a couple of months. Needless to say their quality control sucks, their freshness guarantee is worthless so I won't buy from the Ferrara Pan Candy Co. anymore.
