Questions about Signature Jelly Belly Jelly Beans, 4-Pound
Q:
This says it has 49 flavors, but Jelly Belly makes 50 official flavors. Any idea which one is missing from this tub?
Answer: According to Jelly Belly themselves, there is a Jalapeno flavor that is not included in any mixes. The reason is that they use real jalapeno oil, and it contaminates all the rest of the Jelly Bellys in the package.
Answer: sorry, I have no idea ... I'm only assuming there are 49 different flavors in there... never thought to check.
Answer: According to Jelly Belly, Chili Mango was left out of the 3-pound version because they felt it was too spicy to eat randomly. I would assume they applied the same logic to the Kirkland Signature version.
Answer: I think I know only cause I have been on the tour at the factory. ( you must go at least once ) they actually have way more than 50 but of the orginal flavors they stopped making the peanut ones so the factory can be peanut free... thats my best guess...hope it helps
Answer: there are no Chili Mango flavored included in the 4lb Kirkland assortment
Answer: These jelly beans are delious.
Q:
Someone said this product is not the real Jelly Belly, but an imitation and not as good. Anyone know? Thanks.
Answer: They are definitely real Jelly Belly jelly beans packaged for distribution for Costco (Kirkland Signature). I think the people saying they aren't the real deal aren't grasping the meaning of the fine print on the packaging if they are bothering to read it at all.
Answer: These are the real Jelly deal. I have eaten Jelly Belly's for many years - I would know an imposter. These are really good and fresh. I think to carry the Jelly Belly logo - it has to be okayed by the original Jelly Belly.
Answer: This is the real Jelly Belly. If it were an imitation, Jelly Belly would have sued them. In my opinion, these are the best jelly beans I have ever had. They were gone in about a week.
Answer: These are authentic Jelly Belly jelly beans. I've bought this item twice and they were real. If you eat too many (which I often do), they can give you a bad aftertaste. Maybe someone got that and thought it meant they were a copycat brand.
Answer: These are the real Jelly Belly Beans, I know I ate the whole thing myself!
Answer: These are the real deal if I don't know anything else I know about jelly belly I've been eating them for years. Now I was skeptical at first cause I've ran across some imitation jelly belly and those were horrible. But these are the original rest a sure.
Answer: I purchased two of the 4lb Kirklands version and six of the Jelly Belly 2lb packs over the last four months.
Answer: I have eaten a lot of jelly bellies over the years....they are the real thing. Great taste to all of them.
Answer: Jelly bellies are all gluten free, these are described as being on shared lines, so these are not made and packaged in the same way as regular jelly bellies. I will never purchase these again.
Answer: Only Jelly Belly could make that disgusting popcorn jelly bean. YUK! But the rest of them are A-Mazingly yum, yum. #nopopcornplease
Q:
How long is the usual shelf-life of the beans? (Kept in closed container, closed back tight, etc.)
Answer: If they're kept in an airtight container, they stay good for a VERY long time. Even if they are really old, they won't actually go "bad." Sometimes they might lose some of their softness, but they still taste just as good and won't hurt you. Of course, like other people have said; there is no reason Jelly Belly Jelly Beans should be around that long. They're just too delicious!
Answer: They are long gone now....so I can't check the packaging for a use by date. But I would hazard a guess that they will probably last for as long as you can hold off eating them! The longest that we have ever had a package of jelly beans is probably one year. The last jelly bean tasted as good as the first.
Answer: Don't know. They were reasonably fresh when they arrived, but I'm a jelly bean freak and they didn't last long, and I threw the container away.
Answer: I'd like to give a correct answer to this question but the truth is that I bought them for my brother-in-law who is a "Jelly Bell" freal and they never last long enough to find out the shelf-life but I would think a long long time.
Answer: I am not sure but would guess there will be an expiration date on the beans. Gave as a gift so I can't check for you but my experience with jb's is that they last months, loosing their softness as time goes on but still good. Once the sugar crystalizes, they are no good but this takes a long time. Bought this over two months ago and the recipient (my sister) put them in a jb machine (unsealed) and is still eating them.
Answer: According to Google, upto 8 months. If they last that long somethings wrong with you. ????
Answer:
Answer:
Answer: As I was tearing out my kitchen, I found 8 bags of citrus flavored Jelly Belly. They were at least 6 years old, and still good. Think about it.. it is sugar. With the heat of summer they softened up just like the rest of the ones I buy by the pound in the store.
Answer: We ate on these for about 3 months and they were still fresh and tasted good.
Answer: Not sure. They never last more than a couple days in my house!
Q:
What flavors are in this batch? Are they basic flavors? I don't want any outrageous flavors like vomit or booger, etc.
Answer: There are quite a few different flavors The basics plus quite a few others. Flavors like chocolate, popcorn, berry really any flavor you can think of and they all taste good. These are so much better than just your regular jelly beans. My husband and grandkids just love them. They have yet to say they don't like a certain color of jelly bean. I recommend them.
Answer: The flavors in the jar of Jelly Belly's is anything but basic flavors. The buttered popcorn really taste like butter popcorn, the cotton candy tastes like cotton candy, and that is just a small sample of the flavors. I liked them so much I have ordered another 4 pounds jar as a gift to my grandchildren. You will be very pleased with the Jelly Belly's and for the price they are a good value.

Answer: Basic flavors. 49 to be exact. No raunchy ones. The vomit/booger/dirt/ are only in BeanBoozled packages.
Answer: There are photos on the left side of the product, click on the 2nd photo and enlarge it, it shows you the colors with flavor names. All pretty much standard flavors. EG; Strawberry, Kiwi, Cherry, blueberry, etc.
Answer: basic flavors. 49 different ones. my grandsons and wife love them. have not thrown any away.
Answer: About every flavor I have ever tried is in there and not one tastes bad or weird. They are all sweet and nothing weird. Everything from popcorn to orange, to coffee, chocolate, all the fruits etc. and cinnamon. Definitely nothing nasty. We loved it. And they are real Jelly Belly. Great

Q:
Are there peanut butter flavored ones in this mix?
Answer: No peanut butter flavor for this mix.
Answer: No, there is no such flavor in this assortment.
Answer: there are 49 flavors but sorry no peanut butter , i bought these because I do something for my garbage truck guys my mail lady and my delivery guys and the receptinist and nurses at my doctors office and the pharmacy gals and the hair salon people in town for all the holiday and this year tupperware had some neat Easter egg Containers which work perfectly to put these and the gummy bears and little avon lip balms in them .
Answer: No there were not
Q:
Does this Signature Jelly Belly Jelly Bean 'ton' as referred to in some ?'s ~ Have Popcorn &/or Butter Popcorn in Variety? She so loves Popcorn :)
Answer: If your asking about the buttered popcorn flavor the answer is yes this item has that flavor
Q:
how does the price compare to costco?
Answer: If you are a member and they have them on sale then about the same price.
Q:
Hi, Do you ship to the UK?
Answer: Yes.
Q:
Why is one bottle $22 and two bottles $115?
Answer: Even though they were offered on Amazon, they probably came from different sources. In my case, two bottles cost me about twice the cost of one bottle (they were about the same cost per bottle).
Q:
Why did the price DOUBLE since my last order Feb 24?
Answer: Jill, Our price is 15.95 plus 12.10 shipping and has not changed. Other sellers might have increased the price due to there cost increasing but I can only speculate.
Q:
are sugar free jelly bellys produced and if so where do we get them?/
Answer: I don’t know about sugar free. Why don’t you look on jellybelly website?
Answer: Not sure but go mfg website. They would list if they do or try their toll free number and ask.
Q:
Are these made in Mexico?
Answer: No, they are made in the U.S.A..
Q:
Why are these listed with the sugar free jelly beans. I ordered thinking they were sugar free.
Answer: Maybe because they are labeled as "a fat free food--4 calories per jelly bean." They probably add to my weight, but sometimes they are lower-calorie than something else I might snack on, such as chocolate.
Q:
Where can I find a picture of the nutrition information? I need to see the number of servings and the serving size so I know how many to buy.
Answer: Sorry I can’t help you with that.
Q:
Shipping charges
Answer: No shipping charges if you're a Amazon Prime members
Q:
why arent there any snapple ones
Answer: I don't know. They are mostly fruity. I like popcorn, cinnamon and chocolate but there are very few of those. I've never had Snapple flavors. Sounds good.
Answer: Sorry, I don't know. But what IS there is DELICIOUS! You'll never even MISS the Snapple ones! :))
Answer: These are just the traditional flavors not specialty
Answer: I love the popcorn and coffee
Q:
are these reglor size?
Answer: first what is reglor, or do you mean regular size, if so they are the regular size
Answer: Yes they are regular size I’ve been buying for my daughter for years her very favorite !!!
Answer: They are jelly belly size
Answer: Yes they were regular sized but they were sticky and moisture had gotten inside I had to throw them away because they all tasted the same the jar had been compromised
Answer: They are smaller than the regular jelly bean but still very good.
Q:
why do i receive container that are not sealed and the lid not screwed on tight?
Answer: Mine was sealed and the lid was tight. Seems you got a "used" canister. I would return it.
Answer: I have ordered 5 containers of Jelly Belly and have not received a container without a seal or a loose cap.
Answer: I cannot answer this question. I suggest you contact the seller. I am a consumer just like you.
Q:
What is the expiry date on this ?
Answer: Each time I ordered, the expiration date was three - four months after I recieved product.
Answer: I don't see an expiration date . . . the jars have always arrived with an "air-tight" interior seal of the jar rim itself, much like many pills have. Sugar is a preservative and this is a sugar based item . . . even if it had an expiration date, this household would eat them before it was an issue!
Answer: Mine is 09/1/14.
Answer: it is in a sealed tub so airtight will keep it fresh for long time ... and they are pretty much sugar so it doesnt go bad
Q:
Does this come in an Amazon box or what?
Answer: Yes....comes in a Amazon box....I buy it all the time....enjoy.
Answer: Comes in an Amazon box.
Answer: They come in a plastic jar inside an amazon box

Answer: Yes it does
Q:
is there 1 pound of buttered popcorn leftover?
Answer: I would doubt it!! They are too awesome!
Q:
lkosher?
Answer: It has the little U in a circle on the label. You can see it down on the bottom right corner if you magnify the photograph here on the product page.
Answer: I honestly don't know. I bought this awhile ago and I don't have the package to look at any more....sorry.
Q:
Do you have 4 pound sugar free?
Q:
I know this will sound silly but how many fluid ounce will these fill? I know it is 4 lbs but I need to fill 30 ounce jars and the pounds doesn't help
Answer: the question as I read it, is for (30) 1 ounce jars. NOT a 30 ounce jar. more than likely (1) 4lb pkg of the jelly beans should be enough for your needs.
Answer: tough question. simple answer. since the beans may vary slightly in size, it is not easy to calculate the volume of beans to fill a 30 ounce container (jar). Also depending how many jars you need to fill is another question. Suggestion: order one or two of the 4 pound containers of Jelly Bellys and experiment with how many it takes to fill several of your 30 ounce jars. Since you will most likely have some left over...then "enjoy" eating them...like very very slowly :-)
Answer: Not sure where you went to school, but one pould is 16 oz. Tbetefore, 4 lbs. Is 64 oz.
Answer: @"Amazon Customer" whom asked where Sandra went to school: She asked about "FLUID ounces" which is a measure of VOLUME, not WEIGHT, which is a very different question. Where did YOU go to school?!
Answer: 64
Q:
Do you ship to Germany? There is an infobox that it's not possible.
Answer: No
Q:
I cannot find the 11.99 option? What am I missing?
Q:
How many servings per container?
Answer: the container is very large and the contents would last awhile
Answer: I think its 32oz container
Answer: I am not sure, but I would think with 4 lbs of jelly beans, at least 4 to 6 eight ounce cups.
Answer: I'm not sure
Q:
Are these Helly beans certified kosher. By who?
Q:
Why are there two choices for sizes? What size is the $23? Is that the 4 lb tub?
Answer: Yes, that's the price for one 64 ounce(4 lb) plastic jar.
Answer: YES IT IS A 4LB CONTAINER.
Q:
Is this product fresh and new, on the label it says best before november 2013
Answer: Yes it's fresh my exp date was 2015
Answer: The ones I ordered tasted great.. No complaints at all. I didn't check the Date on the label, I never thought about it.
Answer: I can only say they were not hard. I don't know how fresh they were but they were not stale.
Answer: I have ordered these several times, the expiration date on all my orders has been 1 or 2 months from my receiving them ( not that they lasted that long.)
Answer: It was new when I made my purchase. I don't see why you would get an old one. Absolutely delicious too. Bottle is gone now so I don't know about the exp. Date.
Q:
What is the carb count on these Jelly Belly?
Answer: The Nutrition Facts Label states 35 pieces as a serving at 140 Calories, 37g Total Carbs of which 28g is Sugar. If you need any further information please feel free to contact our customer service department at 800.853.3941.
Answer: really lol if your asking for a carb count you obviously dont need them there not a diet item they sell the same thing at costco there a good easy snack my family loves
Answer: The total carbohydrates 37g 12% daily value serving size 35 pieces
Answer: it should be on the jar. find it and read.
Q:
Is this vegan or vegetarian friendly ?
Answer: Yes vegans can eat sweets. They do not eat gelatin, which is derived from dead animals. Can someone check label. Sugar is a great source of nutrition in terms of calories.
Answer: Do vegans eat sweets?
Answer: In reading the ingredients I saw nothing suggesting animal or animal byproducts nor any real source of nutrition for that matter. I bought them for the novelty of all the different flavors not usually found in jelly beans. I have enjoyed almost all of them and count them as a guilty pleasure. 0% cholesterol by the way.
Q:
Is there any peanut in the jelly beans?
Answer: There may be a peanut flavored jelly bean in there. Kirkland is a Costco brand.
Answer: NONE WHATSOEVER. Just plain jelly beans with wonderful flavors. No peanuts. I, myself, cannot have peanuts. Pure jelly belly heaven. Enjoy. One warning however, VERY ADDICTING.
Answer: no peanuts
Answer: I assume not, but I do not know for sure.
Answer: Not that I know of but many manufacturers say that it's possible that nuts maybe processed . But I dont think there is
Answer: No
Answer: No
Answer: I do not believe so
Q:
These must be made in a different facility? i live in wi near jb & visited many times. their beans are peanut free; these are not!
Answer:
Answer:
Answer: I never found a peanut in the 2 x 4 lb. jars we have purchased.
Answer: There are many inconsistencies in these beans. I will not purchase again. Very disappointing
Q:
The photo is a picture of jelly bellys from costco. so the jellybellys are purchased at costco, and resold on amazon?
Answer: That's possible but less likely than that those sold through Amazon, etc., have never been in Costco's hands. Costco's low prices leave little margin for reselling something bought at retail from Costco. Perhaps the Jelly Belly people sometimes produce more than Costco can take at that time. Those may be sold in different markets. I sometimes find that these are available on the Internet when Costco has none in the store I visit.
Q:
does this item have a recipe guide....example eat 1 peanut butter and 1 jelly to taste like PBJ Sandwich
Answer: I don't think it has a recipe guide. I would like to say go to their website for more information for what your asking. I think that they would have that kind of information. I must say however they are the best jelly beans I have ever eaten without a doubt. That jug lasted a fair amount of time considering I have a single son that lives w/ me still & a lot of his friends love to hang out at my house. I hope that helps. :)
Answer: I don't remember 100% for sure but I don't think so. I think it had a label that showed which flavors were included but not a guide to mixing them like some of the other samplers and bags do.
Answer: I don't believe it does come with it. However, the Jelly Belly site has a graphical recipe list. See https://jellybelly.com/info/fun_stuff/jelly_belly_bean_recipes
Q:
When is the expiration date? I want to buy it
Answer: No expiration date
Answer: If there's an expiration date, it's well hidden. I couldn't find one. The beans I bought were fine.
Answer: The one I received (2) weeks ago reads - Sep 06 2020. (it's stamped in the plastic container)
Answer: Not sure from my last purchase, but I have been pleased by the taste and freshness.
Q:
How many jelly beans are in the pack?
Answer: Are you serious? LOL. I didn't count them. It is an ENORMOUS AMOUNT. 4 lbs. Lots and Lots and LOTS of Jelly Beans!! Enjoy!
Answer: This isn’t a pack. It’s a 4 lb jar.
Answer: I have no idea. I have not poured them out to count. As you can see, there are FOUR pounds and they are yummy.
Answer: Enough - really you think I counted them?

Product reviews of Signature Jelly Belly Jelly Beans, 4-Pound
Katherine Buck Copanic : NOT gluten free like regular jelly bellies
Regular jelly bellies are gluten free. However these have been repackaged by Kirkland and have an allergy statement saying they are packaged on machinery that can be contaminated by wheat (and more). One of my daughters and I have Celiac disease so this was a huge disappointment for Easter. Beware if you have any food allergies or Celiac disease. If you don't worry about such things this a great buy.
Jerry Murphy : Great tasting jellybellys at great price; not as fresh as I would have hoped
I really LOVE the pricing and VOLUME of jelly bellys I get for the price here. MOst of the flavors are great (no one is going to love ALL the flavors). I would say that they are not a FRESH tasting as I have had. Not sure if this is becaues the one I got was in the warehouse a long time, or if that's how all the Kirkwood JellyBellys taste. It's still a good deal to get, i just wish they tasted a little fresher.
risngfrce : Excellent though somewhat expensive
The Jelly Bellies are excellent of course. As far as the price, it is quite more expensive than Walmart, but if you need them by mail order, not that bad.
One issue I have is that there is far too much of the buttered popcorn and maple syrup flavored jelly beans, they seem to be more than any other flavors. I know a lot of people like the buttered popcorn jelly beans... I LOVE actual buttered popcorn, but have always disliked the buttered popcorn jelly beans, they don't taste like buttered popcorn to me. I don't care for the maple syrup flavor either.
Robert and Susan : Love them!
LOL ~ these don't last long. My husband and I hide them from the kids and snack on a handful each night ..t's fun to say "I just got....." Not many low fat snacks out there. Low fat but not low sugar. The flavors are so strong. We like the fact there are some real ingredients in them. This is a good price for the big container because the others don't come close in taste. We will buy again.
Replicant : 5 Star Taste, First World Problems
This is a 5 star item that gives me serious First World Problems. I love Jelly Bellies (who doesnt?) and the Buttered Popcorn and Juicy Pear are literally the stuff that dreams and rainbows are made out of....so I highly recommend this giant jar, even though it's realistically only about a month's worth of jellybeans....BUT........
.....if you want to know how to ruin my day and make me cry real tears into my snack bowl, here's how to do it in 2 easy steps:
1. Make me think I'm getting a Red Cherry jellybean (delicious!).....which turns out to be Cinnamon (death!) (FYI: there are TWO different cinnamon flavors in here, and they're visually identical to the cherry jellybeans...)
2. Make me think I'm picking up a Root Beer jellybean (delicious!)....which turns out to be Chocolate or Coffee flavored (death!) The Root Beer, Chocolate, and Coffee jellybeans are practically identical....(FYI: I have never met another human being on the planet who thought chocolate jellybeans were a good idea.)
Apart from those soul-crushing risks, these are great jellybeans. And if you're the kind of crazy cowboy who throws caution to the wind and doesn't mind playing russian roulette with the cinnamon jellybeans....you're in luck (and you're insane.)
Dreamerme : Unbeatable flavor.
The great unbeatable flavor of jelly belly! We go through this slowly - just a few a day for our Bible memory verse rewards system, and the packaging keeps each bean fresh!
Angel : Big. Will update Review in a week
I can only vote on presentation for now, as I will not be opening this for about a week (using it for a work event) but I can say it is much more sizeable than you think. It feels small until you get it out of the box.
Small banana for scale. Will update on flavor and freshness when it's opened and used.
Tommy Frazier : Irresistable!
Each time I receive a container of Signature Jelly Belly Jelly Beans, I tell myself it is the last time! These flavorful jelly beans are tasty as snacks and I tend to over-indulge. I always order them again, soon as I run out of the last batch.
Kalena : Great Value, Genuiine product
These things are addictive. I like to get 2 of the same type and chew them at the same time, one for each side of the mouth. I use the lid as a bowl and grab a handful and eat the "2seys" and then put the "onesys" back until another time. I live alone so I don't have to worry about someone else being unhappy with recycled hand held jelly beans!!
While the in store costco price might be a tad cheaper, when you consider your time, gas, and costco membership, getting these here at amazon is a good alternative. Prime free shipping helps, too. I don't buy enough stuff to save at costco, so I stopped paying that membership fee and pay for the amazon prime instead. I figure between the cost of gas, the lines, and my time, I am actually ahead of the game.
I have to order these things sparingly, too tempting to have them in the house at all times. This plastic jar keeps them fresh, too.
milite : Folks with allergies, be careful! This DOES have a nut warning on the package, unlike regular Jelly Bellys!
We normally love Jelly Belly, mostly because (1) they are delicious and (2) they are produced & packaged in NUT-FREE facilities -- great for kids with peanut/tree-nut allergies.
Unfortunately this 4-pound jar of Jelly Belly jellybeans DOES have a nut warning on it. They were packaged in a facility and on equipment shared with nuts.
I'm guessing this is because these Jelly Bellys are in Kirkland (aka Costco) packaging. So maybe Costco packaged them at their facility, which also has nuts in it?
Just FYI for folks who have to be careful about allergies & cross-contamination.
Brian Seipel : Seal was broken, lid unscrewed
Packaged in a flimsy brown pouch with thin layer of padding. I opened the pouch and found the lid almost all the way unscrewed. I looked at the seal and it was broken. Interesting however...I first thought someone might have opened it to take a few during packaging, but I tried to pour some out and the opening wasn’t big enough. The opening is big enough however, for someone to have tampered with/ put something in the container. I wanted an exchange but now didn’t trust the seller, so I asked for a refund. Refund was immediately approved (it says, I have not seen the credit though) and they simultaneously said returning the item is not needed. A few of the jelly beans were stuck to the side of the container, near the area that was opened, as if someone spit in the container and it had dried but some stuck there. After moving the container around, trying to figure out if I should throw them away now none of the jelly beans are stuck to the side and it looks fine. What do I do with it??? So frustrating!!
Gilbert : Great Product
We have enjoyed this product; they seem like the real deal. Very favorable. Much better when packaged in a "jar" rather than a bag that is hard to close and handle.
Crim60 : The jelly beans were damp.
The beans were loose at the top but they were clumped together about 1-1/2 inches down. Down another 1/2 inch they were all clumped into one huge clump. Since they can’t be returned I I would like a new jar or a refund.I am writing this here as there was no return listed on the package info. Because they looked OK on top we ate some, I got sick (The runs) my husband didn’t. The paper seal was intact.
Unsatisfied, Bona
MoDirect : Everything came quick everything is sealed everything fresh except stickers ...
Everything came quick everything is sealed everything fresh except stickers were over the original barcodes and the item itself is priced $10 over Market but for shipping and quality of product it was totally as to be expected.
Sarah Taylor Peck : Good variety and size
This is one of the best purchases we’ve made during the shelter in place order from COVID-19. Everyone in the family loves all the flavors and we all have different preferences, it’s lasted us for weeks.
Steve : Fresh
Arrived fast as usual by AMAZON, these beans were very fresh and had a long freshness date put there by the factory. I don't have
to advised you about the taste and flavor of these jelly beans, I know that you are familiar with this candy or you wouldn't be buying
it. Just wanted to let you know that it is what it is. 4 pound jar at a very reasonable price vs the candy store at the mall. For the amount,
the freshness and the price, don't believe that you could find this quality and quantity for the price anywhere else....
10-18-17 Update:
Still the same. Nothing has changed, fresh professionally packed and shipped. Arrived in pristine condition..
OverRover : We buy these for the
dogs.
Yes I said dogs.
WHO would think something that spends it days licking and sniffing things that make us humans go "OH GROSS LEAVE THAT ALONE!" would be picky about the jelly beans they get as a "super dog" reward but our two, are very picky about their jelly beans. They will spit out a jelly bean that isn't this brand or Jelly Belly. I have no idea how they know, but they do.
Thank goodness we can get these here on Amazon at a decent price!
BioChemGirl : Great for a Reward, Treat, Snack!
Potty training is so much easier with such a tasty reward close at hand!
I love the variety of flavors and even though my 3-year-old has been training for over a month we're only just now getting close to having used up the entire jar which is impressive given that every time she gets a reward, the 4-year-old also wants a reward, and the 18-month-old gets a reward, and mom gets a reward, too, because, you know, jelly beans!
The quality was very good (no stale beans) and it arrived promptly. Overall, great purchase.
Johnny Wolf : Excellent as always!
I read several bad reviews here in regard to taste? smell? Etc? What is wrong with you people? I'm fairly certain these are the same Karen's who simply complain about everything. These are amazing as always. Arrived in a day and a half, seal was not broken, cap was intact. Fresh and awesome! Perfect candy for my Mooneye's 25c Eagle candy machine I just refurbished and customized. Will be purchasing more soon to fill it the rest of the way.
Gary Waters : Stale, and off flavor
I love Jelly Belly Jelly Beans. So, when I saw this big bottle of them, I had to order it. Sadly, the jelly beans were hard and kind of stale. The flavors were kind of freaky too. I'm not sure why, but they had silver and gold adn bronze jelly beans that were actually kind of gross. I assume some people like these flavors, but for me personally, they were a no go.
mnmr : Check your packages immediately upon receipt.
This was purchased ahead of Easter for Easter baskets. Assuming no tampering with the package had taken place it was simply taken out of the main amazon packaging and stored... on Easter morning when we opened the cap to fill plastic Easter eggs we found that the package was opened.. nothing like throwing $30 away..
deborah s. spearman : Just the right size!
Jelly Belly heaven provided by Kirkland. I like the fact that we get 3lbs of great jelly beans in one solid plastic container. We can load the candy dish and keep the rest fresh and out of dust and humidity. Besides the Jelly Bellies are the best flavorful beans available!
Maletswai : Old Candy-Non Returnable-Stuck to Jar????
Do not buy--received old candy--stuck--terrible ????--Product stuck to side of jar and no printed shelf life date. I suspect very old candy. Not returnable.
MoistGamer : As Advertised. Mix of flavors was great.
Contrary to other reviewers, I had a great mix of "friuit" and "opaque" jelly beans. Did I notice one occurring more than the other? No - not at all. And I ate them one at a time.
I'm guessing their manufacturing plant has 3 tiers of rejection on the line:
1) The first tier rejects beans that are really messed up - clumped together and oddly flavored. ~~You won't see those beans here~~ , in fact there is a product called "Jelly Belly Rejects" where you can get these.
2) Again, I'm guessing, the 2nd tier rejects beans that are off weight or not colored completely correct. You see these here. There is no reduction of quality in the flavor or appeal of the bean.
3) Notice the little labels are only on SOME of the beans in this big jar? Again, just guessing, but they probably reject certain beans for an off-placed or missing "Jelly Belly" label. They don't want these going into their special smaller packages of beans.
So we see a little of tier 2 rejects, and a little of tier 3 rejects in our big ol' bin. But why do we not care? Because we wanted a ton of mixed-flavor jelly beans at a reasonable price. And that ladies and gentleman, is what i got.
The beans came in the advertised container, they came on time (irrelevant, but that was cool), and lasted me 2 months. The jar is now being used for coins, which I will likely use to purchase...............
More jelly beans.
Matthew : Real Jelly Belly beans, plenty to share
If you want your coworkers to like you, you could try being a nice guy/gal. Of course, that is difficult.
I'm here to tell you there is an easier way! Buy a candy or gum dispenser (the quirkier the better), put it in your office, and fill it up with Jelly Belly jelly beans. Before you know it, coworkers will be dropping by to "chat" and saying things like, "oh, cool duck-shaped candy machine! Do you really just turn his bow tie to get candy? Oh wow, and they're Jelly Belly! My favorite." The more jelly beans they eat, the nearer you will be to their hearts. Which means you will soon be buying jelly beans in bulk.
That is where this Kirkland jug of jelly beans comes in handy. These are the same Jelly Belly beans you would get at the local candy shop but for a tiny fraction of the price. All of your favorite flavors are included. This mix would be perfect if they would just take out the buttered popcorn beans--those nasty abominations trick me every time. Plus these get shipped to your door so you don't have to feel like a fat slug in the checkout line at Costco with multiple giant jugs of jelly beans.
Kat H : Great deal, great beans!
I just ordered this for the 3rd time. I've always loved these jellybeans and the price here cannot be beat. My local Jelly Belly store wants $11.99 for one pound!!!
The first time I ordered these, there were a lot of yellow and black and blue ones. The second time, there were more white and red ones.
I love the mix of flavors. My five person family goes through one of these in a few weeks.
So far, both containers had an expiration date that was at least a year away.
If your package is cold when it arrives, I do recommend waiting until the entire container reaches room temperature before eating as it is so hard to chew them when they're cold.

Rose Collum : NOT Jelly Bellys
They are Kirkland's generic "jelly belly" flavors, but they taste nothing like to original. Overblown, artificial flavors, and smaller in size. I was not aware that they were by Kirkland until I received them. But that part is my fault for not noticing.

DC : These are the BEST OF THE BEST! YUM!!!
These are the best of the best~!! So many incredible flavors (I'll admit to ONE flavor I'm not overly fond of -- but hey! - all the rest make up for it! And most people will love ALL the flavors! Wonderfully huge jar - lasts a long time (er.....unless you loses control of yourself, LOL) It is delightful fun, also, trying out the flavors one-by-one, and "ranking" them as to which you like best. If you like Jelly Bean AT ALL, you will LOVE this huge container of Jelly Belly brand Jelly Beans. YUM!!!
jes karg : If you can't have corn syrup, don't order these
I was so excited to find Jelly Belly that did not have corn syrup in them! I cannot have CS and finding sweet treats is a challenge. The listing shows a different list of ingredients than the package that arrived. The listing shows no CS, but the item I received has CS as the second ingredient. Such a disappointment because now I have them and I cannot eat them :(
Very surprised customer : They were stale...
The best thing about this was my refund. The jelly beans were so old they were sticky and the taste was off. If you just want to save they are okay but if you have a sensitive palette these will not do.
Brian Seipel : Seal was broken, lid unscrewed
Packaged in a flimsy brown pouch with thin layer of padding. I opened the pouch and found the lid almost all the way unscrewed. I looked at the seal and it was broken. milite : Folks with allergies, be careful!

Shell YEAH! : Jelly Belly's are the Bees Knees
I really love Jelly Belly's they are the only Jelly Beans i will eat.
However, Jelly Belly needs to revisit a few of their flavors
Coffee...taste like ass
Mango...taste like body odor
Licorice....who eats these? how many of these are you putting in my bag? Too many that's how many.
Cinnamon ...really? If i wanted cinnamon candy i would eat a Hot Tamale Candy. Its nasty.
Did i mention how the mango taste like a hippies arm pit after a whole weekend at Woodstock?
Kim : great for road trips
We love jelly belly jellybeans, the others are just not the same!! We often take very long road trips and these are our go-to snacks to stay awake. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because some of the flavors weren't so good. Not a big fan of the Krispy Kreme flavors. I love the buttered popcorn, but that flavor seemed hard to find. Well, until I can find a store with jelly belly dispensers that allow me to chose my own flavors, I'll have to make do with this.
OverRover : We buy these for the
dogs.

Ellen McKinnon : Container broken
The container broke during shipping. Not only did the plastic jar break but the lid is damaged and was off as well. The foil seal on the product was torn open and half the jelly beans were in the shipping bag. Because I use these in my office, I have to throw the whole thing away because the container was compromised. I know that the product itself is very good, as we have ordered this before. But having to throw one away is very disappointing.

Jackson32 : Good product, but keep out of heat.
I love these super-flavorful jelly beans and I have consumed about six containers of these.
This time, it appears that the jelly beans were exposed to heat, either before or during shipping, as at least half of them are melted together and may be inseparable.
If you don't worry about such things this a great buy.
you can compare the product price from Costco, wayfair, bestbuy, lowes, target, homedepot, Walmart, ebay, amazon to find the best price for you
