Answer: It has to do with the seller. When the "shipped from and sold by" is Amazon, the price averages abut $13. or so. When it's sold by third party sellers, all bets are off. I bought these from amazon Dec 2, 2013 at $13.44. If the price is too high here, take a look at Wally World. They don't ship as nice $50 minimum, rough treatment, but their price is good.

I was looking for a handy way to have dark chocolate to snack on, in a more stable form, which I could measure out. I should not have been surprised, but I find this chocolate to be too sweet for my taste for dark chocolate. I could not find information about the cocoa content online or on the packaging. So all in all, I will consume this chocolate, but I would prefer truly dark chocolate with high cocoa content. Perhaps Mars makes such chocolate, but I have not been able to find it.

I ordered A LOT of hubs' favorite M&M's as a gift, but when I saw the expiration date on them, I had to give them to him right away, and they will NOT last the 6 months I had expected. They arrived quickly, but with only about 6 weeks until the expiration date. They still taste fine, but they look "powdery" from age.

Love these candies. I have one addicition and that is sugar. Not a fan of peanuts, but don't mind them in these. And they use real sugar not corn syrup, which I am trying to avoid. To be clear, I ADORE mint dark chocolate M&Ms and they are hard to find in retail stores, so I was thrilled to find them available online. I wouldn't order them during warmer times of year but thought winter in New England would be okay. I"m not sure if the product was in bad shape before or after shipping, but I was terribly disappointed when these arrived. Every single piece was either broken, crushed, or melded together with several other pieces. To make matters worse, they were stale. Never again.

Surprisingly delicious. Also considerably better for you than the originals due to the lower sugar amount in these. There's quite a few dud's in the bags I bought, but those weird looking ones always get sacrificed to my stomach first so that the rest look better. Either you're perfect or you're the first to go. Survival of the fittest. 1g of carbs each m&m isn't bad either on my diet. If I just eat a couple and move on I can still end the day with some weight loss. After doing this for a few months I kind of prefer these to the originals now. The richness of the dark chocolate with the crunchy peanut mixes well. It's just the right amount of sweetness you can get used to and enjoy more often since it's the most "diet" of all the m&m's varieties.
