Answer: These are great jelly beans and a repeat order for our family. They are made with real fruit juice, nice flavors and are peanut, gluten, soy, egg and dairy free. However in answer to your question regarding artificial dyes the ingredients do state color added and gives a list -- for example Red 40, Blue 1, etc. Hope this is info is helpful.

I eat these regularly and have ordered many jars of these 'healthy' jelly beans. I have had two jelly bean counting contests and both jars had more than 550 jelly beans in them. They put more in their jars and bags, never less. Great quality, great service, great company. Have a jelly bean contest. Now you will win!

How is it in comparison to Jelly Belly?

Answer: No comparison. Jelly Belly beats them by a country mile in my opinion. This past Easter season I searched for what I felt was the tastiest jelly bean. Having heard how wonderful Gimbal's were I decided to give them a try. I should have saved my money. You could not distinguish one flavor from the next practically. So in my opinion I have come to the conclusion stick with the best, Jelly Belly. The flavors cannot be beat.

Answer: We do both bc both are nut free.... and love them both! I think Gimballs are slightly more"gourmet" IMHO, but both are worthy treats. I sent large individual bags of the Gimballs into school for my daughter to have for a treat when she can not participate in the class birthday treats bc of food allergy concerns.

Decent enough jelly beans, fresh but very subtle soft flavors , I couldn't detect 41. Pricey for what you get which is why I only give 3 stars.

Many folks love the bigger jelly beans you find at Easter, but I love the smaller beans. I've never been completely sold on the beans from that bigger company, and when I discovered the Gimbal's over a decade ago I knew I had finally found the beans I was searching for. They have a delicious assortment of flavors, and I find that they have a slightly softer consistency than that other company's beans. I had a hard time finding them last year, and they changed the look of their branding and packages, but I'm thrilled that my favorite beans are back in stock. You can get the 14 oz bag, but the big jar is great for storing them and keeping them fresh. I just wish they still had the "recipes" on the packages. It's always fun to combine the beans to get a particular taste.

These are so delicious! The abundance of different flavors is incredible so it is never boring with so many different flavor combinations to choose from and to make up your own. Though we are not fans of the licorice flavor. The whole family enjoys this treat since there is something for everyone. I especially appreciate that these are gluten free so at least my one gluten free child does not feel left out with this snack in particular. For my family this was a clear winner and a great purchase. This is definitely a purchase we will repeat in the future!

Let's be honest. The flavors aren't as vivid, there aren't as many, and the beans have more jelly than coating. Not saying they're bad, because they're not. And if you want to save a few bucks and pretend they're Jelly Bellies, it's fine. Truthfully, you're getting about a 60% Jelly Belly experience overall, if that's the reason you're buying them.

You are going to very disappointed if you think you are purchasing jelly beans with the intensity of flavor of Jelly Bellys. The only thing you will taste is sugar. I can't believe how bad these are and If I hadn't opened the jar and tasted a handful, I would return it.
