Does this contain grapefruit?

Answer: Hi Mikey. I checked on the package and multiple websites, and the only flavor ingredients that are named for the strawberry/citrus is as follows: "natural and artificial flavoring". I cannot find anywhere whether the citrus is Orange, lemon, grapefruit, etc. I would suggest that you try the manufacturer which is Mondelez - 1-800-524-2854. I hope this helps you.

Several have complained of receiving only 8 packs instead of the described 14 packs. Will I receive 14 packs wrapped in the box as pictured?

Answer: It is 10 packs, each pack has 14 individually wrapped gums.

Answer: We have been buying this for many years and all ways received the correct packs as noted on the box. There are some with 10 and some with 12, but it is always noted on the wrapper.

I tried this because I had a coupon and I think the flavor lasts a long time...although I would not want to get paid in gum! I chewed mine for over and hour and it stayed very soft even though I was blowing bubbles and popping it. Better than my last favorite, Trident's Tropical Twist.

The only kind of chewing gum that I like is called "Layers". It doesn't get touch for quite a long time, which is what makes it different (and dare I say BETTER) than other gum. For some reason, the usual places where I have found it in the past isn't carrying it. The lack of local vendors was SO noticable, I even googled "did the manufacturer of Layers Chewing Gum cease production?" The answer to that question was NO...then I tried Amazon and there it was. So I ordered an 8-pack. The packages were in a stack wrapped in some kind of plastic wrap. The gum is fresh, which means that it has been kept in the right temperature and humidity mix. So it is all good.

Strong flavor. It might just be me, but my mouth gets tired of chewing this gum after 45 minutes. The flavor starts to fade around that time anyway, but it lasts longer than most.

Extremely deceptive. The picture shows a 12-pack and is priced accordingly. Then I get 8 packs of very stale gum. Really unhappy with this and feel like I was ripped off.

Been buying this gum for ages.First got onto the cherry/lime and it was discontinued.Then bought the strawberry/citrus which was good up till recently. It has NO FLAVOR after a few seconds of chewing. I just bought two boxes of it at a Sam's Club and they are in date. Noticed made in Mexico,is that new???
