These chocolates were amazing. The only reason I gave them a lower rating was because they were melted. I stuck them in the freezer so they could get colder, but the damage was too far gone. It was a melted mess inside the wrapper. I still ate them though.

Worth it. I read about these candies and they sounded like a great combination of my favorite things - cherries, coconut, and dark chocolate - so I had to search them out. I was kind of hoping for a bit more cherry flavor & bite, but these are still delicious. They are primarily coconut-y in texture, but are nice and dense, and I really like the dark chocolate with the slight tangy taste of the filling. I'm glad I opted for the bite size pack too - they're a great little size, and since these are pretty rich, I don't think I'll eat many more at a time. These will be a yummy treat and something I'm willing to pay a premium for on occasion. I'll be on the lookout for specialty stores that might carry them locally, though!

I was in Australia for a few weeks a long time ago and became a fan of cherry ripes. They didn't sound that good but once I tried them, they were heaven. A couple years ago, my sister went there on business and I asked her to bring back some cherry ripes, She brought one and it was just as wonderful as I remembered. Fast forward to my recent amazon purchase of fun size cherry ripe for the exorbitant price. It was to be a special holiday treat for family that had never tried it before. These were so different. These met my original expectation before I had ever tried them, they brought to mind the cherry cough syrup of my childhood mixed into coconut and dipped in chocolate. I would say the attempt to fun size the candy bars failed miserably and would advise anyone not to waste their money on these things. They do not deliver the experience of the original bars in any way, shame on Cadbury.

I really love this candy. It reminds me of a Mounds bar, but with cherry flavor. Great balance of dark chocolate and coconut texture / cherry flavor.

I initially purchased this because of a video that I saw where buzzfeed employees from USA and Australia were trying each other's favorite past time snacks.

It's too bad that this candy isn't directly marketed to the US for consumption.

By far and large my favorite candy, I enjoyed these a great deal while living in Australia and it's wonderful to know that I'm able to get them delivered no matter where I may live in the states. The price seems to have come down slightly relative to other previous reviews (~$15) which is quite a premium to a comparable domestic candy "grab bag" but I think it's well worth the markup for a treat that comes from the other side of the planet. I'll definitely be ordering this again.

I used it for eating of course. I wanted to satisfy a fancy I had that 'Cherry Ripe," the song, was going to be an experience. It was and was not. But it is certainly a fine mini-candy bar that I crave again this minute.
