Answer: Mostly mint flavor - very little chocolate. I used to buy Baskin and Robbins chocolate mints but now they seem to only make them sugar free which I don't like or want. The real sugar ones were a perfect blend of mint and chocolate.

I need a mint for use after an inhaled medication aftertaste .. would the plain Starlight Mint be better?

Answer: I like the taste of the chocolate mints, but I must admit that they were a little stale when I received them. To mask a medicinal taste, the regular starlight mint might be a better choice.

Answer: I would not recommend the chocho mint, but the chocolate Starlite mint is scrumptious and will eave a nice mild chocolate after taste. Good luck.

Answer: It does not come in a box. It comes in a plastic bag. Each candy is within a certain size of each other. The candies are the same size as other Starlight Mints, like the common Starlight Peppermint. Literally, 5 lbs worth. I didn't count them, I just weighed them to make sure I got 5 lbs worth.

Answer: yes, both types I review are declared kosher; parve if you will by a few of the various sites, including the two I ordered from stating kosher or parve.

Answer: My wrapper says "Parve" with a backwards C-type shape symbol with a K in it, is that the kosher symbol? I tried taking a picture but I'm rather tech challenged so couldn't figure out how to add it. Hope this helps.

These are not the best version of this candy, but not the worst either. They are tasty enough, although a little heavy handed on the peppermint. It would be nice af the chocolate came through more. Also the uniformity is not there as it is in others. But, it is a great value for what you get.

I was given some Choco Starlight Mints last Christmas and loved them. When I went to order these from Amazon I read reviews as there were several different brands. Several reveiwers said these were from the original company that made them and were the best. They are not nearly as pretty (not that that makes the most difference) and don't taste nearly as good as the ones I got as a present. Now it will take me months to get rid of the 5 pounds I bought and by then I'll be sick of them. Don't get me wrong, they are ok, but only ok.

These are a pleasant change from the strong mint types. A bag this size last a long time and I doubt they will ever "go bad." I forgot about the last bag and it was well over a year before I saw them again. Still fine and tasted great. I have purchased the Choco Starlight mints from another seller on Amazon. They were exactly as pictured. Individually wrapped with each wrapper saying The original Choco Starlight. Taste was great. This time I wanted a bigger bag and ordered from this seller. I did not get what was pictured. The big bag said Choco Starlight Mints but each candy was individually wrapped in a plan wrapper with no wording. Also the taste was not as minty. Very disappointed and would not order from this seller again.
