Answer: The important thing is to keep moisture out of the mints. They will stay fresh if you keep the jar tightly closed and store it in a cool dark place - as in a closet.

Answer: As long as they are stored in a dry place at a temperature below 90°, they should keep for three years from the date of manufacture.

Answer: It should not hurt. But I just make sure the bag is tightly closed and set it in the pantry...cool and dark. I can tell no difference from start to finish. And they do so work well don't they. I don't have to go to dentist so often and they always comment on the small amount of plaque and tartar. Love them.

I have been doing some research on Xylitol and it seems to have some great benefits to dental health. I have gotten away from chewing gum since we changed out eating to mainly organic and non-gmo, so I was pleasantly surprised to see that these are made with non-gmo corn based Xylitol. I really like the fruit flavor and my kids also like it. They do not like eating mint or cinnamon flavored foods, so it is nice to have a flavor option that is palatable by children. I am not sure if this is going to help reduce the number of cavities since I have only been using them for a short time, but I am hoping what the research shows is true and we all have pleasant dental visits from here on out. This is such a large bag of breath mints, it is going to last for quite a while. I will definitely purchase these again once I run out, it is a good price. I never thought to buy breath mints in a bulk bag before, but it really does save money over getting the small packages.

When I just pop it in my mouth real quick and don’t smell it, it’s bearable. The other flavors aren’t bad. But these are not a pleasure. I DON’T understand all the reviews saying that it taste good it’s very confusing they must’ve received a different product than I did. I would not have spent $40 on this item if I had known what I know now. Buyer beware!!!!!!

I have bought this product several times now and know that the American dental association is right, it does reduce number of cavities. I keep a small container next to the bed, and if I wake up with dry mouth, I chew a mint. (My dentist says night time is prime time for developing cavities.) And they taste great!
