Answer: we are in the mojave desert and ours got here fine, we have prime so ours got here pretty quickly

It is very hot. Will the Flake bars be protected by ice or coolant in the box?

Answer: Yes, in England we would buy ice cream cones and they would put a small flake bar in it and it never melted the all time we were eating them. I love them and buy them all the time.

Answer: Errrr no. Ice melts. My advice is wait until a cooler part of the year to make your order. For residents of hot cities like Phoenix etc it would be beneficial to get your order in from fall through early spring. Happy munching!

Answer: They are being shipped from England so my guess would be there. They come in surprisingly good shape, considering the trip and the product. I've only once gotten some that had clearly gotten too hot somewhere along the way. If you order in the fall there are no issues.

Was good to find a source where I could direct order. Cadbury has a different flavor from most US chocolates (i.e., Hershey) as they follow the European tradition of adding back in cocoa butter (chocolate liqueur) that is taken out in processing the cocoa bean.

Awesome, comes all the way from England so as expected it takes a while but still came a few days early. Comes in its original box packed well but still a few Flakes at the top were broken but just a few, still tastes great. You can eat it on its own or add to ice cream. The only thing I would do differently Is order it in the winter. I live in Florida so it was a little melted, but I put it In the freezer so it recovered. The Flake is 32g so they're the big ones. I will re-order in the winter.

Packaging suffered through rough handling in the mail from the Netherlands. However the candy survived and is in good condition. The "Best before" date reads 01-09-21 which, by British convention is 01, September, 2021, so don't panic if you are here in the U.S! It's okay.

I love Cadbury Flakes! The chocolate is far superior to anything we have here in the states and I have never had any problems with the ones purchased through Amazon.

For those complaining about receiving expired chocolate - are you reading the expiration dates correctly? In Europe, dates are first, then month, then year. Here in the US, people are too used to reading MM/DD/YR and forget that this is an imported product that reads DD/MM/YR. If you look at some of the reviews here complaining about expired product, look at the dates of their post versus the actual expiration date. They got it wrong.

The last time this was ordered came from another seller and took two weeks. It was August and the heat ruined the chocolate. It is important they get here quickly and these came in two days and taste as delicious as they always did especially when you make a “99”. This is a bar pushed in to a vanilla ice cream cone yummy. Had these for the first time several months ago from a specialty candy shop and was very impressed. Decided to see if I could order online and found this. First time ordering and very satisfied with the quick delivery! Item received is exactly as the item advertised. I would have given 5 stars, but I am a little disappointed in the "best before date". Already 3 weeks past. In all honesty, I'm not sure if that really makes much of a difference. We've opened and eaten 4 bars so far. They are full-sized and unbroken, and seem to be perfectly fine. I am also happy to see that the ingredients do not include HFCS or any type of soy. I will know more by the time we get to the last bar. (Shouldn't take too long as these are wonderful!) At this point, I recommend this seller & product, and would buy again.
