Answer: The back of the container says they are gluten free.

Compared to regular, are the fat free any less tasty?

Answer: Had no clue they were fat free. They taste just fine to us. It's a childhood taste we've always loved.

Answer: As far as I know the peppermint puffs are always fat free, so these taste like other brands. The only ingredients listed are sugar, peppermint oil and dye.

Answer: Sorry for the slow response! These have always been fat-free, and in my opinion are the best peppermint you can buy because they use real peppermint oil. To me (and my family) they are the superior peppermint! Hope this helps.

Not only soft, but creamy - like a butter mint! Way better than Bob's, and I went through two buckets of those! (I give them away in a candy dish at my desk.) The texture of these mints is so smooth - not dry or crunchy. I'll be back for more!

I have always enjoyed King Leo Soft Peppermint Puffs, but I found that my brother also loved these, so I decided to add this to his Christmas presents and it went over quite well. These are top quality, and this container holds a lot of these puffs, enough to last hopefully a couple months considering his grandchildren love them too!

I bought this product at BJ's for 1/3 of what the Amazon seller is charging here. I cannot believe the seller is even charging almost $20 for this when you can get it for under $6 at some discount retailers. But my issue with this product is that it claims to be "Soft" Peppermint when the candy is so hard you might break your teeth biting into one. These are not the restaurant style soft mints that melt in your mouth at all. You literally have to bite into them and continue to chew them to get them to melt. If you don't mind having harder than typical soft mints than this candy does offer an OK minty aftertaste.

Very disappointed at these. I remember this brand as soft, melt in your mouth candy but somewhere along the way they changed to rock hard. Not a good move.

I bought this to throw to kids from my car in a 4th of July parade. The red and white colors made it perfect
for the 4th. It was over 100 degress that day, and about 115 in the car, but it didn't affect the candy at all. I finished the remains about 2 weeks later and it was still very good. I will definitely buy this next year.

We've been enjoying King Leo soft peppermint for at least 30 years...probably longer. As the saying goes "often imitated but never duplicated!" (or something like that). I used to purchase King Leo at a local grocery store in the bulk section, but they changed suppliers and the new one didn’t have them. :( We've compared King Leo to lots of others that advertised to be ‘soft peppermint’ but all those are too sugary with barely any mint flavor. I’m was happy to find them here on Amazon (and prime eligible) so that we can get them whenever we want them without worrying about shipping costs.

This is not King Leo peppermint despite the image shown. I received Bob's Sweet Stripes and was told no refund or return was possible. Bob's Sweet Stripes are okay but they are not King Leo!!

Violet : King Leo is my favorite so far

I have tried 3 kinds of mints from Amazon so far. I tried Bob's and thought they had a slight bitter taste (maybe the coloring). I tried Hospitality mints and they were small, had a nice taste, but were too hard (at least the bag I got). So far these King Leo mints are my favorite. Nice taste, I can suck on the mint for a while, and when I feel like biting the mint, it breaks apart easily enough.
