I believe the round containers of Ice Breakers and Ice Breakers Duo (not Frost) come packed in 4's and 8's- but the oval FROST containers are 6 per box. I like the FROST-because they do not contain sorbitol, which can affect your digestion if you have to many mints.

I purchased this mint because I was in search of a sugar free tasty mint. The fact that it contain Xylitol was a plus since I used it as my sugar subsitute. An unanticipated outcome was that they controlled my sugar cravings/hunger cravings. Perfect, as I was on my healthy lifestyle journey to lose 55lbs. I have since lost the weight and now rely on the mints to control the potential sugar carving or mindless eating which I now realize if you focus on something else for a bit, the sugar and hunger cravings will dissipate. The mints help me through those times while giving me a refreshing breath!

Not only are they delicious and make your dry, nasty mouth feel fresh, clean and cool... they are ALSO the single best sore throat treatment I have EVER EVER EVER found. I do not know why, but they are amazing for that scratchy, sore throat. I swear, it can even put a total stop to it. Maybe it's the xylitol? I hope they never discontinue these, because it's my holy grail item for sore throats.

As for the people experiencing pain when they chew the mint: Don't -bleeping- chew the mints!! Admittedly, the stuff in them that makes it feel cold in your mouth can overwhelm when chewed. Drinking liquid makes it worse. DON'T CHEW THE MINTS. Problem solved.
