whats the difference between a truffle and the lindor chocolates
Answer: the truffle is a round, chocolate covered ball with some wonderfully, yummy, creamy decadent filling inside. I do not know if there is a difference between them - sorry. I bought them through Amazon and they were wonderful.
Answer: The linder chocolate is actually a ball of hard chocolate with a soft filling whereas a truffle has more or less the same consistancy throughout.
Answer: These Lindor chocolates are truffles as far as I'm concerned. They are round balls with fillings injected inside. Other truffles might be hand-dipped, and not so round. In my experience with chocolates, I've come to realize that some candy stores get "blanks"-- simple round truffles, and then hand dip them to achieve a unique quality. Lindors are quite good.
Answer: Lindor Chocolates just melt in your mouth, yummy.. Truffles are good to, they are more chewy.
Answer: Same stuff except i would encourage you to buy lically and not order lindor online ever. Mine came all smashed up and neither sellers nor amazon allowed returns or refunds on this item. You can get much better truffles if you buy them from a local choloatier or grocery store.

Answer: You must have ordered the 60% dark chocolate which is packaged by Lindt in a black bag. That said I question why you would purchase this product to be shipped during the hottest part of the year instead of checking local stores for product on hand.
Answer: Why would some one order candy or anything affected by heat when they live some place hot? You are a ridiculous person. Grow up geez! People like you make my teeth ache!

These truffles look old. They have developed a whitish film which is formed when chocolate releases fat during long storage. The expiration date says July 31, 2016 which should have been still valid but the look is not very appetizing. Would not buy it again.

I have ordered differing bunches of Lindt truffles and assorted packs, and they have sometime been a bit of a dice roll. Sometimes they are perfect, other times the chocolate seems misshapen or old.
I was pleasantly surprised with my recent order in that it arrived with great care inside the packaging. It arrived lined with foam, with a few protective air pockets and, most surprisingly, with 2 icebags by the chocolate to keep it cool. While I do admit that sometimes buying these chocolates online results in inconsistent results, I am quite pleased and delighted with this most recent order as the care put into keeping the chocolates nice and protected is above and beyond what I expected.

I am so disappointed. There was melted chocolate on the inside of the bag as well as in many of the outer wrappings of the individual candies. The inside chocolate wasn’t as soft as it normally should be either.

I read the reviews of this one, and felt that since the other trifles were great, this would be okay too. Wrong! The candies look squashed and some have an odd coating on them. I tried two and they taste okay, but I'm going to throw out the odd colored ones. Amazon, you need to investigate the company that provides this product. It is really not up to Lindt standards... maybe they are factory discards?

I hate to give my most favorite sweet "craving satisfaction cure" a 3 as they are the greatest, but I received the product and they were melted, disfigured and watery. They had melted in someway by some unknown means, even through they did attempt to prevent this. These ended up watery in the middle and dripped to bottom of bag. I put in fridge to help revive, but to no avail, they were for the most part hollow in the middle and waxy. Have ordered many times and this is the first time this has happened. Would have given Lindor a 10+, but must rate what I get as well as service and delivery as well.

You can't usually go wrong with Lindt; however these seem to be not the quality Lindt chocolates I had hoped for. The price for the size bag was good, but they ARE truffles, most without the truffle-type filling. I think they were something that should have been forwarded to be sold at Big Lots or Ollies because they aren't up to par for the Lindt brand name. Kind of disappointed but not enough to return them because they still have that creamy Lindt chocolate taste, just don't expect them to have the truffle filling....... :(
