Answer: I'd say 6 without liquid.

how do I know if they are gluten free?

Answer: the package states that is is packaged in a facility that contains wheat products so depending on how gluten free you are you might have a reaction.

Answer: Marshmallows are made almost entirely of sugar.(and a little corn starch) there is no gluten in sugar, only in wheat. Wheat is not listed on the ingredients list above. (see Important Information section just above this questions section) therefore, these marshmallows (and probably all marshmallows) are gluten free.

Answer: If you are sensitive to gluten, I would say to stay away from this product as its packed in a facility where they also pack wheat products according to the label. It also has cornstarch which some people which celiac disease can't have.

Answer: This is legit! These are just like Lucky Charms - I've gone through almost the entire 8 lbs. since Christmas... And there will be a certain amount of "marshmallow dust". Treat this as some kind of voodoo ingredient that you can sprinkle on cereal or ice cream or some desserty stuff.

Answer: We had them for about 6 months before they got stale. Keep them in their plastic bags sealed and they will last quite a while.

Answer: I wouldn't know about that but they need to be in airtight containers. The slightest bit of humidity will ruin them. When I ordered them they were in one huge bag. I put them in a plastic tub leaving them in the original bag and took the out in batches an sealed them back up. They're good, just like LChrms. Hope this helped.

Answer: 1 huge bag. And marshmallows are hydroscopic, so they will absorb moisture quickly and get chewy, and then go bad. vaccumn pack into smaller bags is the only answer.

Gave this as a gift to my brother who always ate the marshmallows out of our cereal boxes. After getting 8 lbs of marshmallows, I no longer have this problem and he has been cured of his need to eat my marshmallows. The only problem is that they came in big bags twist-tied shut, so by the time he managed to actually finish a bag, the other one was stale. Great if you can use them all at once for a huge party or something, but they are not long lasting.

I compared the ones here (I bought an 8 pound box) to the ones from a Lucky Charms box and I much prefer the ones from the Lucky Charms. These are okay but they just are not as good. I will probably buy Lucky Charms and takeout the marshmallows then replace them with these and see if my kids notice. If not I will keep doing it so I get the good ones!
I thought about it and tried an experiment by placing the Cereal Marshmallows. The result was marshmallows that taste EXACTLY like the ones that come in the Lucky Charms. I was just missing the flavor of the cereal on the marshmallows!
The 8 pounds I bought will be fantastic if I continue to follow the above actions to simulate what happens to Lucky Charms marshmallows. Buy these and enjoy them and avoid having to buy Lucky Charms and then throwing out the cereal once the marshmallows are all eaten.
