To access a piece of gum, you push on the plastic top above that piece and it exits through the foil backing, which tears when you push down on the plastic above that piece of gum.

Answer: I like the melon best. I bought CLORETS for years until it was discontinued. The Dentyne melon is what I replaced it with and it runs a close second to my favorite Clorets. I won't buy any other kind than the melon.

Answer: I think this gum would be okay with dentures (keep in mind I am not a dentist) because I have lots of different dental things happening in my mouth and the gum does not seem too sticky. In my opinion, after the flavor dissipates the gum starts to feel a little harder and for me that makes my jaw tired. If you are wondering about how long until the gum "toughens" -- I would say after about an hour and a half I have to wrap it up and stow it in the garbage. Hope this helps!

My favorite thing about this gum is it doesn't get hard or rubbery as you chew it for a long period of time, and it still retains its mintiness

I used to subscribe to regular shipments of Trident Vitality gum--best gum I ever had! And I have a background of 20+ yrs in dentistry, so I've had every gum under the sun. Boy, was I shocked when Amazon informed me that Vitality was no longer available for subscription and the price went from around $9/case to over $23/case!!!! That's crazy! So, I searched and searched and found Dentyne Pure and I have to say, I am not disappointed! This is equally as good as Trident Vitality and is now my favorite. Let's hope they don't do something crazy like start charging an outrageous amount of $$ for this gum too. Happy chewing :-)

I have been chewing Dentyne ICE spearmint for awhile. But it never seems to last more than about 20 minutes before it gets flavorless.
So I decided to try Dentyne pure MINT with Herbal Accents. This gum seems to keep going and going. The only think I don't like is what seem to be little pieces of a harder texture in the gum, but isn't too annoying and might be why this gum just seems to keep tasting sweet for a long time.
