The dark chocolate is perfect (it is Venezuelan chocolate, which, in my opinion is the best chocolate), the mix of salt with spice gives the chocolate nuanced flavors and is deliciously blended, and then the surprise of the pop rocks is so much fun. I don't think I have ever had fun eating a chocolate bar before, and I love chocolate, so I have had experiences of great pleasure -- this bar gives you pleasure and a fun surprise. If you love chocolate, you should try this bar.

Saw this candy bar at a Starbucks. I picked it up because it sounded so interesting and the ingredients were all natural. It was so good I got another bar and the rest is history! I love everything about it...great flavor, just a hint of heat and the popping reminds me of pop rocks! It's yummy goodness! My new dessert treat it an apple or banana with Almond butter and a few chucks of this candy bar. Perfect when you want something sweet!

This chocolate bar has ruined me for all others. It is so good! It has a little spicy kick from the chipotle, and a pleasant crackling texture from the "pop rocks"-like candy baked in. I have given bars as gifts to other chocolate lovers and hooked them too. I wish this brand was easier to find where I am (MA) but I am forced to buy them on Amazon because I can rarely find them anywhere else.

I love this flavor but haven't been able to find it in stores. The ones that arrived yesterday were expired. The date appears to be 02/15. The bars are turning white and you can definitely taste the oldness. These were not sold at a discounted price, so I was not expecting old chocolate. Super disappointed. I've included a photo of an orange bar that I've been munching on for a week and this freshly opened one from amazon (bottom). Notice the lovely date and the powdery look of the one on the bottom in comparison :/

I think I'm in love. I'm normally not a big chocolate person, but this is one of the greatest bars I've come across. It's innovative and delicious.

Firecracker is well named. This bar is a combination of dark chocolate, pop candy, chipotle and some salt. It has just a touch of sweetness. The chipotle comes through as kind of a burning sensation in the throat and a sense of heat while breathing rather than anything on the taste buds. I didn't really taste the salt, but it must work well with the chocolate. But it's the pop candy that makes this bar great. It works like normal pop candy, but even after swallowing you can still feel the popping in your mouth. It's awesome.

The ingredients are good too. They're non GMO, which I love. And everything else has an ingredient that I can pronounce. They even use two different chiles! And it says no gluten ingredients are used either. There's 2 serving per bar, although I stretched it out a little more than that. 190 calories per serving with 13 grams of fat. And sugars are 15 grams.

It's an expensive bar, but it's well worth it as a treat. I will definitely be getting this again and trying out their other flavors as well!

The chocolate is dark and robust. The crackle is outrageous but you'll want to savor. There's a perfect hit of heat at the finish. It'll tackle any craving. I like all the Chuao I have tried. This one is the ultimate. A must

I received this chocolate bar as a cheer-up gift. I appreciated the gift, but this bar didn't cheer me. I'm not a fan of the sweet peppery combination. My first bite I thought wow! Maybe there are on to something - but as the chocolate melted on my tongue it left the worst aftertaste. I will have to press the pass button on this chocolate bar. The only pro to this bar is - it stands by its firecracker name. You do feel an explosion in my mouth from the first to the last bite.
