Answer: The expiration date on my box was July 2021

Answer: It's probably on the label, but I have bought these chocolates for two decades and none of them have ever been spoiled. I store mine in the fridge if I don't plan to eat them within a week or two. Never order them during warm weather - they will arrive melted!

Answer: They have never yet been - once in the summer they had a light white fog - probably due to them being to warm during transport - but in the spring, fall and winter that should not be the case.

Answer: I had this experience as well, on 3 different occasions. The problem is not with the shipper but with the delivery. The post office does not use refrigerated or air-conditioned trucks. The driver told me, "Never order chocolate in the summer." I wrote to Total Recall but they are not able to do cold packs. I don't know whether some other source would. At any rate, the last few shipments (in cooler weather) have been fine. The melted mess was still edible, all broken up into crumbs and clumps. Just eat the debris with a spoon...

and it was so MELTED that it was coming out of the box.(very sad) We opened it and tried to eat the Chocolate

I can't find these chocolates anywhere in stores anymore so when I had a balance on a gift card that I needed to use, I decided to get them on Amazon. If you can find them in the store they're cheaper, but it's pretty hard to find them unless it's Christmas time. They arrived well packaged, were fresh, and I was happy with them.

The BEST decision I could've made. Not only do they look scrumptious they're absolutely delicious!!! The nautical theme they have for each piece is very nice & makes them almost too pretty to eat, but like I said almost. The filling is very creamy & the chocolate melts in your mouth, a perfect blend of flavor! You will not be disappointed when you receive these decadent treats!

Disappointed in quality of packaging for transportation for these items. To add, order was placed in midwinter and temperatures upon delivery were below freezing.

Received melted and damaged chocolates. One piece was pulled apart. You have to send in photos of the damage as proof which means hanging on to the chocolate with melted paper while you wait.

The best offer the company gives is a $6 refund for the $12 box of chocolate. Chocolate was leaking out of the box and all the candies were ruined and crumbly. This was supposed to be a gift. Now it has to be trashed. VERY DISAPPOINTING.

What is going on here?! No way to submit a photo of the awful, dry and powdery pralines that arrived instead of the usual fresh, carefully packaged, amazing ones that you all have sent before?? They were either dry and powdery or squashed. This was my 4th (and LAST) time to order these pralines!
Spent $25. After trying to salvage and eat a few, they're going in the trash! Then when trying to get Customer Service online, it says "Not Eligible For Returns" and then brings me back to this Review page. I've always tried to resolve issues before submitting a terrible review. I'd hate to think people don't care that loyal customers are disappointed and unhappy.
Very poor quality. And this is from a long time customer who has always raved about the quality AND Customer Service on Amazon! Won't be ordering these again. And very upset that Amazon's quality and service has been poor overall during the past few months. Sad!

These are by far my favorite chocolates. That being said, they could step up their game. My box was delivered all melted. Why they were shipped without an ice pack in the middle of summer is beyond me. It was tragic. These are my favorites, the hazlenut is just decedent. My long addiction to Belgium's finest chocolates is well known. Spending winters in Florida is a problem, though: When the package arrived, the delivery person left it on my front step in sunlight beating down, so there was some melting in the box before I got home to bring them in. Maybe it would be good to ship them in an insulated box, or tell the driver not to leave them, only hand them to the customer! Mind you, they are still terrific even if dug out with a spoon, Just the aesthetics suffer.
