A traditional British Christmas favorite, Terry's Chocolate Orange was originally introduced in England around the 1930s. Each Chocolate Orange consists of a ball of 20 segments of milk chocolate flavored with orange oil. Traditionally, a Chocolate Orange is removed from the package, and while still in the orange foil wrapper it is "whacked" forcefully on a hard surface to break the segments apart. Will the item melt during the shipping process?

Answer: Absolutely it will melt and turn into a blob, and it taints the entire chocolate in look and flavor. They should never ship this product without a dry ice pack. I ordered four and they were all disgusting, a total waste of over $20! I'm pretty angry about it.

Answer: No. They go straight from the box to Xmas stockings in my house! No melting.

Answer: I don't know. It depends on where it is being shipped to, what the temperature will be and how long it sits inside a mailbox. They normally do not, but I always put them in the fridge upon arrival just to be on the safe side.

I used to get one of these every Christmas as a child and when I was unable to find one this past year, I was quite upset. But when I found them here, I ordered one right away. It came from the UK and took a few weeks, but after it arrived, I popped it into the freezer and waited about a day.

Opening it, it was perfect and fun to open. The taste is not as sweet as I remember it, but my tastes have changed as a child.

Highly recommend one if you have fond memories or are interested in what chocolate with a hint of orange flavor taste like!

Haven't had one of these for about 11 years now. Ordered one, taste just like i remember. Smooth milk chocolate, with a nice orange flavor. doesn't taste fake or artificial at all. however, they are a bit smaller than i remember! then again, everything seems bigger when you are a child. Expected delivery was 4 weeks , since its from the UK, but i got it in a little over a week.

I give these to my sons every Christmas. Unfortunately, this one was not pristine. The box was crushed, but I take it out of the box. Additionally one side of the chocolate was a little "dented." But, that was only this year.

It arrived in a bubble mailer envelope. Naturally the box was all messed up. It didn't affect the chocolate inside though. Put the gold wrapped ball into my fiancé's stocking. He won't mind. :)
