Is Lindt chocolate dutched?

Answer: Yes, it is. Check the nutritional info on the back. It can be found at the Lindt web site. If it states "processed with alkali", it is "dutched" and thus has much of the health benefits removed. I've found the highest percent Lindt bar that has not been dutched is 85% which is what I eat regularly.

Answer: If you mean by dutched that it has been treated with an alkalizing agent to give it a milder taste I would say no because the taste is very rich an not what I would consider mild and also not a flavor that I think children like. I would suggest checking with the manufacture for an exact answer.

Why is so over priced? I just bought 12 for $30

Answer: About that I'm not happy because I changed my mind 3x but I just got it in the 22 dollars yet I was not happy but with the tough time companies are being conscious less but us the consumer we have the choice. I won't buy it at 30 box then I will buy blueberry instead. It is only for the anti oxidant.

Answer: I wish that I could help you, but.....by the time the vendor got the chocolate to us ( we live in Florida & it was the middle of a VERY HOT summer) it was literally a chocolate mess ( or should I say.)...chocolate soup. !!! It was not properly packaged or sealed from the elements whatsoever. So needless to say it was NOT fit for consumption. They would not give us any compensation, & we will NEVER purchase from them again! So, in one way we cannot help you, but by sharing this with you we possibly did help you! Penny

This dark chocolate bar is very tasty and it has no sugar! The only problem I have with it is that it's wrapped with a thin aluminum sheet, and that sheet is difficult to remove because it easily disintegrates due to its thinness. But aside from that this is an excellent bar of chocolate.
