How difficult is the container to open? I'm a paralyzed vet and have no hand or finger function, so I'd need to carefully open it with a tooth. Thanks

Answer: 1st there is a plastic ring around the lid. I also use my teeth to get it off. There are two openings, one is large and the other is very small. I have a container here as I write the answer. It fits tightly. You can open it with you teeth, but you would have to find some way to hold. Good luck and thank you for your service. jack

Answer: Don't open this with your teeth. It is hard to open so what I did was buy the metal tin of Altoids and pry this open with a screwdriver (not tooth!) then put the mints in the tin which is easy to open. Plus I like the metal tin better.

Answer: This product is double wrapped in plastic. Each box of eight are wrapped in plastic and the the two boxes are wrapped again. I usually have to cut them open! I would say they are not easy to open.

They are healthy?

Answer: That all depends on your definition of healthy. They do not have sugar and are very tasty. As with all breath mints, they are made with artificial sweeteners and dyes and all sorts of chemicals. They are not a health mint, nor do they claim to be.

Answer: Not sure if they are healthy but I tend to think sugar free is better than sugar filled.

Answer: No health benefits but it is good to curve the craving of candies that have sugar. They are a good choice for those watching weight and diabetic. I just enjoy the flavor personally.

I love these mints! I've gotten into the habit of having one every morning on the way to work. It's about a ten minute drive and it lasts all the way there. They spearmint flavor is great, fresh and minty, and that sensation lasts for quite some time after the mint is gone. It seems to me to be a pretty good value also. I don't know how many mints are in a package, but I am pleased to pay the price for such a good product.

I love Spearmint. These mints have a great Spearmint flavor and I have gone through several packs in the last month. My local supermarket cannot keep this flavor in stock. It sells out fast. Also, these mints are low calorie and low carbohydrate (which helped on my recent low-carb diet).

I love spearmint and peppermint! I also need to keep the sugars down so only buy sugar free. I've been looking for something to replace the Mentos NowMints, but this isn't the one. The taste is OK, but not great; there's an odd secondary flavor that isn't mint. It's not a deal killer but the Mentos are better. More importantly is that eating more than a couple mints at a time can cause gas and diarrhea due to the Sorbital and/or Matodextrin. I should have ready the ingredients before purchasing.
UPDATE: I tried a few of these again and seriously regretted it! These don't really taste good and my digestive system treats them like a poison.
